Good Luck non visa people. I glad I had a Visa. My sister, friend (BOTH HAVE VISAS TOO) and I were off from work on monday and had time to spend 2 hrs on the phone. We are all back to work now and dont have time to sit on the phone. Thank goodness we are booked.

I am here to add to the wonder of where everyone went. I noticed too not many posts, I hope what I am going to post offers comfort in the wait and doesn't add salt.

I have been waiting to book because in a moment of "I'm getting out of debt" last summer I cut up the disney visa card. It had no balance anyway. I had been meaning to cancel the account and hadn't. So last week I broke down and ordered a new card. They said it would be here in 3-5 days. Well, it took 6 so when it didn't come on Sat. for Monday morning I was really really kicking myself.

Now for the hope part, I got home yesterday (PST) so CRO was closed by the time I called, and low and behold the card had came. I called first thing this morning, and got 2 weeks at POR for the 5 of us. I couldn't afford a deluxe and really wanted one room to keep the family together. I have asthmatic children and my youngest in the middle of the night sometimes will need me to hear him and get the nebulizer. Anyway, I called and got the 2 weeks I wanted no problem. I asked the CM if avaliability was getting low and she said, "not really, we still have lots of rooms and more coming tomorrow for the next rush" I thought that was encouraging for everyone waiting. I felt

hello sorsha! (im tonya from md) anyway, i laughed at the fact you get "poopy" flight rates in montanna. our friends live in belgrade mt and they have the same problem. im not sure as to if belgrade is northwest mt like you, as i am very geographically challenged! they are going the same week we are this year (9/22-9/29) and they booked their vacation through a ta. my friends are actually driving to salt lake city (6hrs) to save over $1000 on airfare! baltimore usually has good fares on sw to orlando----if they would just hurry up and open the schedule! well, good luck to you! to everyone calling on thurs (myself included!)

Belgrade is about 6 hours away from me, its SW Montana, near Bozeman. And I feel your friends' pain on the airline prices LOL! We are actually taking Amtrak to Spokane and flying out of there - saves us over $1000 as well.
We hope to be in WDW the same time as you and your friends! We are going 9/20-9/29! Hopefully we will see you there!

I really believe that everything happens for a reason - we will all be visited by the happy fairy in whatever form tomorrow! Here is a quick example.....I was trying to book my air last week with a voucher - put the flight on hold, raced to the airport to pay & they wouldn't accept the voucher! Argued with attendent, cried a little, then returned home very bummed. Now, I have contacted said airline to re-issue the voucher AND just last night got the hubby to agree to leave for WDW one day earlier! There has to be a master plan in work that I don't know about!!

I can't wait until Thursday morning. I have been working on the ADRs that I want and trying to figure out a hotel. At this point my husband is not really feeling the Disney trip but i think I have him convinced.

Now hurry up Free Dining for the general public.

By the way can anyone tell me if the pirates and princess party is worth during our visit? I was looking in to it and I think that it looks like a fun night for the entire family.

Sorry, I meant to include that. we will be there 09/08 to 09/22. I added 3 nights from our already planned Oct. trip and saved $1800 too.... can't beat that.

That's what got me excited also. I'm also hoping that since a lot of people have booked through TA's they won't even be getting to the phone until we're all done .

But since I already have a room reserved thru Dreams Unlimited, I have to sit and wait tommorrow on pins and needles hoping that she got the free dining on at the same resort.... gonna be a long day till I hear from her! nice to hear they're opening more rooms - it's always nice to hear from MULTIPLE sources, so it seems like it could be true.

Has anyone heard about what the code will be? or if there will be one?

I emailed my AAA TA about it, asking her to please call first thing on Thursday morning when it opens to the general public, and that I'd email here with the code when I found out what it was - I also gave her info on the Disney Visa card offer information.
Her response? I talked to so-and-so from Disney and they told me blah blah blah, so if you want to take advantage of this offer, I will need to have your Disney Visa card number, expiration date (blah blah blah). DUH?!?! Did I NOT just say WHEN IT OPENS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC??? Ugh!! But that's why I booked my own package and I'll be up at 3:45am tomorrow...
