The *Official* February 2011 Thread - Happy Dance Time...The Park Hours Are Out!

We are also going in early Feb, we will be at the Swan Feb 5 & 6, then moving to BWI on the 7th thru the 13th....

Got my PIF confo today from my TA. She really sent it yesterday but I was out sick, so I got it today!!!

I am now bouncing off the walls.. only 46 days for us.:banana:

Confirmed all my ADR's (including The Event). All good there.

I still have my drawer of sample size toiletries/blister blocker/bandaids/pain medicine, from the last trip. So I am good there.

Last time we ordered some grocieres (water/soda/muffins/breakfast bars) to be delivered to the hotel (POFQ), and we barely touched it. So I dont think I am going to do that again. Maybe if we had more people or small children, I would do that again.

I pulled out my packing list, although this time its all over the place, since I have no idea what the weather will be. Whereas last time it was all shorts/shirt/tanks and a sweatshirt.

I think this time we will leave Pal Mickey at home, since he didnt work to well in July.

I feel like I am missing something!! What am I missing???

Can't wait we will be at pop 2nd-6th , it's getting close.

:hyper::hyper::hyper: Packed the bag of swimsuits and flip flops today. Won't be needing those until February. I know there is a chance it won't be warm but my two older kids and husband will be in the water if it is even remotely warm

:jumping1: The kids are home from school this week so we will pack another bag or two tomorrow. We're having a disney countdown party. My daughter, 11, is sitting next to me drawing disney characters. Disney fever is in full swing!!

:drive: Spent some time fine tuning the budget and went to gasbuddy.com, which was awesome :thumbsup2 It gave me such a great summary of usage.

Can't wait until February even if it is just above zero it is better than -27 and snowing like a son of a gun

Wow! What a fun vacation!!

We'll be there from 13-18 Feb, staying at the Ft Wilderness cabins.

First time going in Feb. We've gone in May, November (twice), and December ...

Seriously- I am getting so excited! Today is the first day that I truly felt that WDW is SOON!

It must be in the air! It has really hit me in the past few days also -- Hardly been able to concentrate, just want to dance around a lot and chant Disney-related things, LOL. I think my co-workers will be glad when I just go already. :thumbsup2 It's so slow here right now, with so many out until after New Year's, I actually got a lot done on my itinerary. Well, "got a lot done," in the sense that pencil marks were made, and others erased, and many papers were shuffled around, lol.

I think I undid more than I did, as I moved things around to aim for the lowest crowds and avoid things that need to be avoided. But we just don't have enough Epcot time... And the one day that would be perfect for me to switch MK to Epcot, the predicted crowd numbers for Epcot are *way* too high for my comfort level. So, the shuffling continues... You'd think that with 8 full days, no AK time, and only one morning at DHS, it would be no problem finding enough Epcot time! But some MK things like EMH and MSEP have to be worked around.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm sitting here listening to Radio Buena Vista (a WDW park music station on Live365) and they're playing the soundtrack to the old, un-decimated Spaceship Earth, the one with Jeremy Irons before they utterly ruined my favorite ride in the whole wide world. I love getting to hear it again, but it makes me SO sad because it's just so awful now. :sad1:

We all know Disney has a bad habit of fixing things that aren't broken. What ride do you wish they would put back the way it was?

Ooh can I join the fun??
DH and I are taking our DD1 princess: for her first visit from January 30th through February 11th!
It started off as my "push present" from DH, my dream trip staying at the Grand Floridian. But then DH decided he wanted to stay a bit longer so we tacked on a few days in front at All Star Movies. And then my parents decided to take all of us kids (and grandkids) to WDW for their 60th birthdays....so we're staying an extra 5 nights at All Star Music!
This will be our longest trip to the world and I'm soooo excited :goodvibes

I am so worried we are going to have to cancel our trip...I really wish I had a more optimistic husband  Please send pixie dust!

Ron - We will be at Ohana's that morning also, but quite a bit later. :rotfl: We have a dining time of 9:30 am.

I think that when we are 30 days out (which is not to far away!), I am going to institute a Disney Movie a night. Does not matter which movie, as long as its a Disney movie.

I need to watch Tron again (as its been a few years), we have seen the new one twice and love it!

I tweaked my dining yesterday and made sure that I didnt have any double reservations (which i did:scared1:)

Have a great day!!!

I don't know how or why people go to WDW during this week... I was just looking at Lines and the current wait for TSM is THREE HOURS. :faint: Even it's a small world is 40 minutes -- I can't ever remember waiting more than maybe 5 minutes for that one. Love going in February!! :goodvibes

43 more days for us!!!!

 :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:
