No idea! For these sorts of shows, we usually track about 5 - 6 weeks behind.

You must not watch Amazing Race! Everyone knows that you TIVO the show plus an extra 1-2 hours. They don't end football and they will never pre-empt 60 minutes! Bugs us all on that thread!

Anyway--yes, the game is timed. However, depending on how many times the clock stops for any variety of reasons that include but are not limited to: Timeouts called by teams, timeouts by officials (not sure if they do--but there you go), Contested calls requiring review of play, penalty flags thrown requiring the officials to confer and then issue penalties which may requiring moving the chain markers, moving the chain markers (can't start the play until they are in position), field goals (I don't think the clock runs for those--but can't remember), injuries which delay a player coming off of the field, etc, etc, etc.

We have a party when AR actually manages to start on time.

Oh geez! The game is in overtime now by 15 min.

This might turn out to be the biggest non-event thread of the DIS.

running over, or they are actually in OT?

I just flipped over and they are in commercial, so I did not catch how much time was left.

Our gator game was over by almost 45 minutes yesterday. Just regular play. I had to think fast and record the next too shows. We were behind and I looked and we were almost to the end of 3 hours and hadn't started the 4th quarter, yet.

Fox is on the red carpet now. So either they pulled a Heidi or the game is over.

They will just cut that part and run the Emmy's as scheduled. The Emmy's doesn't have time to donate to the cause and the celebs are timed to be in by 8 eastern, so it isn't like more people will be walking in.
