Add me and my DF to the Christmas Group: Dec. 13-20th.
So far a few glitches in reservations (for some reason tickets and hotels not wanting to link up and making reserving VERY difficult).Hoping this will all be resolved soon.
Wanted BOG on the 17th but cannot get it.But got everything else, so who knows, it could all work out in the end. Going with the flow!
DF is a first-timer and I haven't been in... mmmmm years. Totally underestimated the work of planning, though.
Add us to the list! 12/12-12/20. Going to hit up Universal too.
DD9, DD5, me, DH, and a set of grandparents. Cannot wait!
We are driving down from Hilton Head, SC and staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. We were originally staying at the Grand Floridian until I realized that my daughter who is 2 will be turning 3 before we check in. My vacation went from 5k to 8K in a flash due to separate rooms needed. I decided to save money on resort and spend it on events and such. My children are 3 boys, ages 11, 9, and 5, and my baby girl is 3. One question I had, is it worth it to rent golf carts or are the buses adequate to move through the Wilderness Resort? Thanks all for any advice.
Hello everyone! I am joining in on this thread. We were originally planning on going on our first ever trip to Disney World in June 2015, but decided spur of the moment that we wanted to go for Christmas! We will be there 12/21-12/27. It will be my husband and I, our son and his family (two girls ages 17 and 3), and my daughter and her family (1 girl, 14, and her 4 year old son). We will be staying at the Cabins of Fort Wilderness. We are trying to be realistic as far as the 2 toddlers are concerned and know that if we are at the parks when they open, the little ones will never make it up long enough for any of the light shows, but I have heard that some of them can be seen from the marina area of Fort Wilderness. We plan to do the Hoop-dee-doo Revue, but no other dining plans have been made. I was wondering if any one knows if any restaurants serve traditional Chirstmas dinners. I saw on a Disney Food Blog that Liberty Belle Tavern does, but of course they are already filled up for Christmas Day. Is there a way to find out if they serve that only on Christmas Day, or maybe everyday during the Christmas season/week. We are trying to pick the most important things to see, in the limited time that we will have before the little ones wear out, then we will go back to the cabins and let them rest and enjoy the Fort for the evening. Any tips on the Christmas dinner will be appreciated. Cathy
We are eating at Artist Point at wilderness lodge

Hey Everyone! Just found this thread & joining in! My family will be taking our very first Disney trip this year. Our dates are Nov 29-Dec 6. It's me, DH, DD8 & DS4. The kids don't know & I'm hoping to be able to keep it a surprise. We are booked at WL & have already bought tickets to MVMCP & the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. Our ADR's consist of: 1900 Park Fare Dinner Ohana Dinner Sci-Fi Lunch Hoop Dee Doo Revue Akershus Breakfast Via Napoli Dinner Crystal Palace Breakfast Now I just need to reserve a CP dinner package next week. Probably San Angel Inn or Coral Reef. I am soooo excited to experience Disney with my family...and at Christmas! Yaaaay!!! dde03
Help! I was just about to book the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue and I started doubting that decision. Has anyone ever been there with a 3 year old and a 4 year old? I really am not sure that they will sit there for a 2 hour show. Especially after a day at the Parks. Is it entertaining enough to keep them going for 2 hours?Cathy

My first question would be, what time are you thinking about booking? 4:00 or 6:15 they would probably be okay; 8:30 might be pushing it. Kids seemed to be pretty entertained while we were there (just observation, we're two adults). There's quite a bit of audience interaction, singing, dancing, cheering, napkin waving, etc.
I have been with a 3 yr old and a 1 year old and they both loved it!
That's good to know, what section were you in? We will have to be in the balcony with our dining plan. Is that to far away for them to get involved in the show?
