The Official Dec. 2010 Code Watch

Are you able to change the dates of your trip without being fined?
I got the 20/30/40 code, but the dates don't include the Christmas week- which I would really like.
So if a different code comes out later- and I book the week before Christmas- can I go back and change it???? :confused3
Thanks for any info you all can share!! :cutie:

Up until 45 days out you can change with no penalty. So I"d make your plans now. Discount codes often black out Christmas week since it's the busiest week of the year at Disney.

Ditto. I will go to MK on Christmas Day if I ever see a code come out that includes Christmas (aka I'll never be at MK on Christmas Day ;)).

Hi everyone,
My DH and I are planning a trip Dec. 11-17, right now we are booked at Pop, trying to get a pin to upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

We will be at Disney Dec. 1st-5th. We haven't decided where we want to stay yet as we are waiting to see if there are any deals.

I have finalized my dates, can you please change them on the list?
Split stay- 12/16 CR 12/17-22 CBR :)
had to make good use of that 40% pin at deluxe resorts, even if it's only for one night!

Yuck. LOL! They usually stay at all stars and CBR right? I am looking at hopefully going for DD's b-day the 10th, thinking of coming in a few days earlier. We usually stay at Pop, but I was thinking maybe CBR this year. Guess if we go we'll stay with pop or try another mod, maybe French Quarter

We are staying at Disney this week. Which would be better, Movies or Pop to try and stay away from the majority of the pop warner crowds?

Not sure which one would be better for a value. Last year the mod was POR.

MY TA just told me that staying a deluxe would be no problem.

Thanks guys we are booked at Movies right now because my sons loved the "Mickey" pool and Buzz and Woody Hotel, but we may change it over to Pop.

In the past they have not stayed at Pop, but things could change

I gave my TA a buzz last night, she is also a friend, she said she would choose Pop out of the values if she had to stay at one during Pop Warner week. She said it will be crazy there but not as bad as staying at any of the All Stars.

I beg to differ a little bit. I have gone there this time of year for the last 5 yrs. I have never had to deal with any craziness at POP. Yes maybe at ASMu, ASmo or even at POR, but never at POP. The best part is going to the parks during the day because everyone there for PW week is at the WWoS for the cheer/football.

Doing the happy dance! Booked our first family trip for 12/12-12-19!! Staying at the POFQ and I used a PIN!!! Would love to get the free dining option~keeping the fingers crossed!!!
party:party:

Booked the Poly for 12/6-12/13!! Waiting patiently on a code......I am concidering moving us to the GF.:confused3 We will see!! So excited to finally be headed back to the World!!!!:cool1:

Some do stay at the Pop and since many people know Pop Warner is at the other, many book to stay at the Pop instead. So the Pop resort gets a bit crowded as well. My TA daughter used to cheer with the Pop Warner group and her squad stayed at the Pop each year they competed.

I agree the parks are nice during the day because, the Pop Warner kids are competing.

I agree!! They descended on MGM as we were leaving one night (thank goodness!!). Yes, I know I was a teenager once (and an unsupervised teenager on a high school trip to the World, too!), but I was so glad were only had to deal with the hordes for about thirty minutes or so. Not fun. Our days were great, though. Aside from that tiny portion of one evening, I wouldn't have even known PW was a concern if it weren't for the DIS.

We saw a few families at YC (we did a split b/t SoG and YC that December), but they weren't really a presence at our resort. No sign of PW at SoG.
