We are going to be there Dec. 11th-20th. Booked at ASMo but hoping for a code. Can't wait!!!!

Another December hopeful here. We visited POR last year 12/6-12/18 and it was amazing. There was a significant decrease in crowds, the weather was fantastic and the POR was a delight. Would love to go back this year.

I just called and upgraded to POR from Allstar Sports. This is our big trip for out 10 yr. an. Not much different in cost. First time for us staying in a mod. resort. I AM SO ...WORDS CAN NOT EXPLAIN HOW HAPPY I AM. I know DH,DD, and DS will love it. Now for Dec. to get here.

We love POR, its our favorite mod resort!!! We have stayed in the mansions and in alligator bayou. We liked alligator bayou better. Not that the mansions werent nice but they seemed quieter, like more adultish. When we stayed the second time we did alligator bayou. We liked the theming of the rooms better, location and just overall feel.

You will have a wonderful time there.

YAY! We're celebrating our 10th this Dec. too! On the 16th! How about you? You will love POR! We've done POFQ twice and love it!

There are many still waiting for Aug/Sept discounts! Those were out last year by now. But I don't think the December discounts came out until July last year...

Same here. We have been going in Dec the last few years and last year was the 1st time they offered FD during Pop Warner week. I hope this occurs again. I am there working all week long, but DW & DS come along and do their own thing. The FD last year saved us plenty... bowing to the Disney gods for this to happen....

No not at all. last year it was July and I though that was earlier than usual. They haven't even released fall deals yet.

Disney Visa holders get some discounts that the general public doesn't ever get. Sometimes Disney Visa holders get the discounts three days before the general public gets it. There's no rhyme or reason to it and you never know which codes are going to go public. Except the Fall Free Dining Promo, that's been a pretty safe bet for the last 5 years.

If you book a trip for December now, can you call back after a deal is offered and have it applied to your reservation? I have priced my vacation a bunch of times and noticed that the flights you can book on the Disney site are getting smaller in number each time. Right now on the Disney site I can only get a late afternoon flight down, but can still find morning flights on sites like Travelocity, but they cost more than what the Disney site quotes. I can probably just have my travel dept where I work book the flight so I get the corporate discount. Guess I will have to look into that.

You can call back at any time and add a discount to an existing reservation.

Honestly, 9 times out of 10 you are better off nto getting your flight thru Disney

Thanks for the updates. Maybe I will book the vacation soon so I at least get my room, I have my Disney CC which gives me 6 Months of 0% financing for the trip, and I am close to $700 in Disney Dollars which will go towards the trip. now all I need is to get 40% off of AKL.

I didn't think the flights were too expensive through Disney, but since I can't get the time I want I will probably use a different avenue. I may go with SouthWest, I saw that you can have your bags go to the resort now even on Southwest and I don't have to pay for my checked luggage.

I jonied Chase Bank back in Nov. because they were offering the Disney rewards card as your banking card. I was sent an e-mail along with Disney Visa card holders regarding the Kids-Eat-Free special. So I gather you are included with them to be offered the specials before they go to the public. Maybe go this way instead of applying for another credit card.

I always go thru the airlines directly. I find it cheaper, no site charges, etc. If there is a flight on say Travelocity and not on the airlines site let them know and usually they will match it. Good luck cya in Dec.
