IF I weren't old enough to be his mother and IF I was single with no kids.....I would just up and take off to follow Clay wherever he goes.....thats a fact
He is wonderful....
and AI2 had just as much talent as AI 3....it was just all rolled into one instead of spread out over 7 or 8

I am a regular on the Clayboards and there was a post brought over there from the Red Hot Topic board. It said that the judges did not speak to Clay at all, not before, or after he sang, it said that they weren't even watching him sing , they were taking to each other while he sang. After he sang he started to leave but then he came back and shaked hands and hugged all the contestants. Some people threw a teddy bear and a couple pairs of panties onstage. As he started of the stage he took one of the pairs of panties and threw it at Simon, it almost hit him in the face. I would like to throw something at Simon, it wouldn't be underwear. They were very rude to him and I hope he doesn't go back.

Wow!! Any idea why the judges acted that way? That is really rude. I've never heard Clay be anything but polite when discussing them.

I just saw on the claymate boards that Clay will be making some solo performances this summer. He is going to be doing Musikfest in Allentown, PA in August 6. Tickets aren't on sale yet. I am hoping to be able to get to that concert. It is less than 2 hours from my house and DS#1 goes to college up there. So may be able to stay at his apartment for the night and not have to drive back home.

Still need to buy the single CD. It is on my list of things to do today.

TRL is on spring break and the videos are voted on by the kids on spring break at the various locations. Cancun kids voted on those videos that made top 5 yesterday--it's just a special thing TRL is doing on spring break. Did you happen to notice all (but for Britney) were hip-hop videos AND the guest with the 2nd place vote getter was G-Unit w/fifty cent? I'm betting the kids have a limited list of choices. It stands to reason that a bunch of 18-20 y/o party animals would be voting for more club/dance-type music while on spring break.

I'm not sure about the Ruben statement--he was holding pretty steady on TRL around #8 last week, but--as with Clay--he wasn't on the Friday show.

Ruben's video was voted into the closet. The Clay fans were trying hard to get Brittany voted out, but got the blame for Ruben being voted out. Funny, the Ruben fans voted Invisble to the closet.

There is a number you call and you try to vote videos off the show. I didn't try it, but I thing they only do this when the hosts say someting about it. They tell you that they are going to be doing it in advance so that you call to vote.

Speaking of Kim L., have you heard her new single?? I LOVE it! It doesn't sound like the Kim from the show, but I'm addicted to the song already. And I'm also very envious of her for living with Clay....
