I told hubby we are each putting a couple outfits in each others suitcases just in case one of ours is lost. We will both have an outfit in our carry on as well.

I just sent the wife a text suggesting we do this, it's a great idea! We had an issue during one of our trips where one suitcase lost it's ME tag and we didn't get it until the following day. Unfortunately, it had all of our toiletries and my clothes in it! It's only happened once, but there's no harm in preparing for it to happen again!

Now I split the clothes between all suitcases so if one comes up missing we still have something for everyone, along with what we take in our backpacks on the plane.

we have never stayed for the good night kiss but I did tell hubby I want to this year.

With MK closing at 9 and 10 most nights I wonder how they do the GNK. I have only seen it at like 11.

I bring a few of kitchen trash bags too to keep all the dirty clothes in, in the hotel closet. Makes it easy to carry to the laundry facility. I use a new one to lug it back to the hotel and once emptied, I reuse to fill with the dirty.

I also bring a few clothespins to clip our bathing suits to the chairs on the balcony to dry. Once had a close call with my DDs bikini top hanging off the ledge of the 9th fl at the Contemporary, after some wind!

I made my little mouse keeping tip pockets today. I just need to write a small note on the ears so they know it’s for them but I have to find my white gel pen. It has seemed to have disappeared.

This is so much better than my method of just throwing some money on the bed! Sometimes the mousekeeper doesn't realize it's a tip and puts the money on the nightstand! My wife is the crafty one, I'll have to show her this idea!

We're seeing it on Saturday...my mom will be with us too. There's probably a few movies she needs to see in the next 3 weeks.

This will be our first year flying, and my plan is to pack all of our clothing in our carry on bags. Only thing going in the checked bag will be out soaps / shampoos, sunscreen, deodorant etc so that we don't have to pack them in tiny bottles. I figure that way, if the bag gets lost it is no big deal, it is all quickly and easily replaceable.

Let us know what you all think. I told hubby I may go see it one day before we leave. I’m just limited on when I can go because my neighbor across the street has asked me to watch her 4 month old three days next week and two the next week. The rest of those days will be spent getting things packed and groceries bought so our kiddos have food to eat while we are gone.
I do hope to squeeze it in though.

Joining in on the fun! Just booked a quick trip 8/28-9/1 for Food and Wine as well as the Star Wars Opening. It's going to be fun but crazy! We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

We'll be at the Wilderness Lodge, too, checking out on the 31st.

I think we might enjoy doing parks at night (cooler temps hopefully), but I must admit, I thought the MK would be open past 9:00pm. Our first night there there are MK EMH at night until 11:00pm, but everything else at MK is 9. Maybe hours will get extended, but I am not counting on it. We have 8 days of tickets and MNSSHP tickets, so I'm sure we'll get lots done though. I actually am looking forward to night time touring- just a change!

Disney closes the parks early during the slower seasons. If you go in January the parks will close at 8 pm or 9pm. It comes in handy to see fireworks early, but sometimes it is too early.
