Doing a happy dance today!

Just made our deposit for a LM room at AOA for June 21 - 28!

It will be DS's first trip... he will be 20 months at the time.

We will also be celebrating DD's 8th birthday!

We are planning on going in Feb over break to celebrate DD's 12th birthday!!! Not sure on dates yet for sure. Feb14-23 or so. Probably staying at AOA but that might change depending on any discounts that may or may not be released. I can't wait. It has been too long since our last disney fix!!

Sort of, yes. We're actually getting legally married in three weeks, but we're having our ceremony and reception on November 2, 2014, because our families couldn't come up so soon. And Disneymoon, of course!

It's complicated, because we've been engaged for about 3 1/2 years (together for 6 1/2), but never thought Minnesota would let us marry (we're both women). So while WE knew we were going to get married...someday...we had no idea it would be this year. So we're getting "legalled" on the first day we can, and "weddinged" on the day after our eighth anniversary of being together.

Well have some more congrats! Friends of ours are getting married in Washington state later this month. They're a SS military family so the last few weeks have been quite an emotional whirlwind. I'm wishing you a long and happy marriage and a wonderful Disneymoon.

Thanks! It's been so interesting reading through the threads on this forum.

I'm hoping to stay in a Little Mermaid room in AoA. We stayed at POP last year and really enjoyed it there, but when we walked over to AoA from POP, I was really impressed with the theming and thought it might be exciting to stay there. Plus we can't afford anything more than a value

We did LM room at AoA last year, DD was 6 and in heaven. She said she never wanted to stay anywhere else but there for the rest of her life. I say stay in value while you're kids are appreciative of the over the top of it all! It was a blast.

Add us to the list please, we'll be there Nov 23-28 for Thanksgiving. It's close to DD's 8th B day and it will be the twin DS's 1st trip at 20 months !! Plus I grew up going yearly during the holidays and love everything about it at that time of year! I'm counting down the days (except apparently did my ticker wrong)!

I'm new here so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but when can you book Thanksgiving? I read on a board that you can't book past Nov 22nd right now. We are trying to price the BLT or WL 2 bedroom and possibly looking to rent DVC points. I know I can't rent the points till December, but when can I price the rack rates? It keeps saying rooms not available.

Congrats, fellow LM room traveler! We just booked ours officially last night for 8/3/14 to 8/15/14!

We are super excited. We didn't know when we would be going back again cause we had a "really" tough year. But when we knew my niece was turning 18, graduating high school, and going away to college all in one month, party at her house and Disney. Win, Win, Win!!! Last year we stayed at AoA in the Nemo suites. We loved it. We loved the pool too. The theming, food, pool, everything!!! This trip we needed to go cheap in resorts while still doing all the food we want to eat and same amount of days in the parks. So we are saving money on airfare by driving (half the cost) and value. Pop and All-Stars are cheaper, but for $65ish more, kids get the pool and theming they love. Also, Landscapes of Flavors has many interesting choices that aren't available at Pop. Hope you enjoy your trip, cause I know we will!!!

No question is a dumb one. You can price rack rates 499 days out from your date of stay over the phone - I believe it is a year out if you're trying to price online.
