Thank you both for the input about my dining timing. DH wants me to keep our ADR at LeCellier (4:10pm) because he wants cheese soup and pretzel bread. I have done early morning runs (with no food before the run) and I don't do well...obviously. I have found that my best runs are in the early afternoon/evening after eating a normal diet throughout the day.
Hmmm, maybe I will go back to my plan of making my pasta salad in the room and eating that before we leave. I cook up a box of pasta (I prefer the bowties) and mix it a can (or 2) of tuna, a can of peas, and Fat-Free Miracle Whip to hold it all together. It's delicious hot or cold. My mom used to make a whole batch of it for me back in high school when we had our all-day softball tournaments and it got me through a lot of long days. Since we are in a studio and all of the ingredients are shelf-stable, it would be very easy to bring everything with me. I have a "pasta boat" that cooks up pasta in the microwave so I'll add that to my list.
Ugh...the dining stuff is really getting to me. I usually have a problem narrowing down my restaurant choices. Now, the only ADR's that I am absolutely set on are breakfast at Boma on our departure day (that's a tradition) and "lunch" at Sanaa at 1:30 on Sunday. I call it lunch, but since we won't be back to the resort until about 5am, it will be breakfast for us. I just can't get myself to make any ADR's because I really have no idea how often we are going to go to the parks. We have 4-day park hoppers but I am not even sure we will go to the parks for 4 days. Good grief
...I just want to "wing it", but I know that is not usually conducive to a smooth trip when you are talking about Disney
.
Call the restaurant a week out and explain that you would like a light pasta offering. The words lasagna and running 5 hours later seem incongruent. I have found that I can usually get something light by asking at the table. I have found making the call makes it more certain. Since it is race weekend, they may have an off menu offering planned.

). We'll probably grab breakfast at Main Street Bakery (Starbucks...do they accept Starbucks gift cards???)
. I want to leave the resort by 5pm and head to Epcot. We'll walk through Epcot (no attractions) and head to the Dolphin for dinner. I'm thinking about the lasagna meal at Picabu...looks like a great carb option. After dinner (hopefully around 7), we'll head to the Boardwalk and grab the bus to the start line.
