Between the towel dog and this new ad that I saw during the Oscars, whoever is creating the ads for DCL is absolutely earning their paycheck.

I've now see the short version of this ad 3 times in the last 30 minutes. The longer one is better, but the short one is OK.

I can’t watch this without crying. It’s so us. 15 years of cruises with our only son. The only part that would be changed in our world is where the teen son hangs out in the cabin. The past three years, it’s all about “I will be hanging out with my new friends, see you at 4 am”. Amazing the amount of friends he has met over the years that he still stays in touch with. What a great preview to cruising with future grandchildren! Kudos to the DCL marketing team! Looking forward to what else you have up your sleeves!

My husband told me about this ad last night! Made him cry too. When you're the age we are (mid 50s, with our daughter now in her mid 20s), it definitely brings a lump to the throat! Thanks to the OP for posting it so I could watch it.

I understand this is all pure speculation and most of probably have no inside information. What do you think they are hinting at by using "Married Life" from Up?

100% speculation based off of a post I read here that said MAYBE the new ship would be Pixar centric. Also the commercial was shared by Pixar too.

Such a sweet commercial. My version would be WDW, not DCL, but brings back so many memories

This commercial really hit home considering we started cruising with DCL when our 3 kids were young back on the MV of the Magic in 1998. Over the years they grew up on DCL trips and now all have their own kids and we love cruising with them and the grandkids. Seeing grandpa walking the deck with his little grandson in the commercial just floored me emotionally as that is so real and something we have experienced when one couldn't sleep. It just fills my heart.
