Things I learned today: 1/ I'm not ever going to be able to start a run before 10:30 am unless zombies are chasing me or it's an actual race day. 2/ If I try to get out to run before 10:30 am, I might accidentally put my running shorts on inside out.
True story, luckily I didn't make it out of the house like that haha!
Got two miles done and this heat is brutal. No clue how I'm supposed to get six in on friday, which is where I'm at in my training. Mile one was really good today, since Nike kept telling me I was running at under 10minutes, so I kept trying to go faster LOL. Then I got home and plugged the thing in and I'm back to my old slow turtle pace. Ah well at least I survived!
Good luck to everyone else who is out there in this crazy heat today!!
In other news, got our tix for MVMCP for Nov 8th in the mail yesterday. Anyone else going the night before the race?

Can't wait to hear your report.

but I am

Question - did you get fitted for running shoes? The right shoes might help support your knees and ankles better - something with more stability may help. If you get a chance, head to your nearest running store. They should be able to help you find a pair of shoes that works for you. After your week on the Life Cycle (is that a bike?) maybe you can start by walking for a few days to see how that feels. Hang in there!

. We'll see...
I'm hoping for a big PR during that race.
). It's incredibly frustrating how easy it is to backslide.
Congrats!
I was so darn tired I just could not get up.
I am mad at myself now. I did get a 30 minute Firm Cardio workout in. So I got something done. Maybe I will try for a quick run tonite. But no promises there. I am not home a lot of nights and when I am the kids don't let me out of their sight!
I was thinking about skipping a run (again...haven't run since Saturday
