I hate Chef Mickeys lol but the options with Mickey and Minnie both for dinner are surprisingly limited . Hollywood and Vine is the only other that comes to mind. We did dinner at 1900 Park Fare this last trip and it was great but obviously totally different characters!

UGH right? I am having such a hard time with this ONE meal.... I have Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine as options, but they are both in parks, and its not like we CANT go to a park we have APs, but currently i have this booked for the day we will do HS in the AM, and then maybe pool and figure after the dinner we would go to MK if we are up for it..... We are doing 1900 Park Fare in Feb.... UGH

I love that all of Dillon's favorites are things that I won't eat lol

I get this ALOT, she has such an odd diet... like really girl? Yesterday my aunt put out a whole can of olives, and like 45 minutes later Dillon goes mom there are no more Olives.. but NO ONE ELSE ate any...... just happy she didn't get sick!

Only thing I could think is if you decide to go for a non-character meal? Have you guys ever done Whispering Canyon at WL? We did lunch there last trip and the all you can eat skillets were delicious and the servers were having so much fun with the kids. They auctioned a little boy off to the restaurant and a little girl from another family won him so they carried him to that table.

There's never enough time to eat everywhere! It's so hard to balance the old restaurants we love with the new ones I want to try too #disneyproblems

Just a quick update on meals for May.

I think i have decided i want to try breakfast at Topolino's at the Rivera, the reviews seem good, and it will be something different. I was able to drop Chef Mickey in favor of this, so i think that will be a good change. However the way it is currently set up that on out HS day... and I just don't know what the deal is going to be with boarding groups in May.... So I may end up shifting some stuff around. But since i haven't actually booked flights yet i also made this reservation for our departure day and may do it then instead....

Since we are off site in Feb no FP booking for us yet... but we are under the 60 days which is nice... however i am starting to regret this offsite deal... but have to give it a shot once right?? right????

I’ve heard good things about Topolino’s so definitely worth a visit.

Ah, not so sure on the offsite deal but that’s my personal opinion. I’ve seen vlogs of trips offsite and they’ve not seemed that bad. They just don’t appeal to me.

this is actually a great idea! I need to check out the menu as Dillon doesn’t really love breakfast food so we usually avoid breakfasts.... but I feel like so many good meals are breakfast....

We've gone away from doing breakfasts before the park opens because I feel like 99% of the time you end up rushing or missing rope drop and it's not enjoyable lol. Now we just hit rope drop, get some rides in and do a later breakfast time.

I'm not sure what was on the kids menu but I definitely saw people getting Mickey waffles if that helps lol

My poor deprived PTR! I havent forgoten about you!

But I am back! For today!

So i was finally able to make all my FP for our short trip in February! I am not going to lie, i do not hate making 1 day at a time! I hate that its 30 days out, but it was so nice to only worry about 1 day at a time. If the trip was longer then 3 park day i may have hated it.. .but it wasnt so bad!

Anyway today i made our final day for Epcot, and as soon as i was done i saw a post on Facebook that MFSR started FP as of Feb 19th! So i hopped right back on and shifted out HS day and i was able to grab a FP for our group of 9 for this ride!


I was also able to get Tower of Terror for DH! This worked out really well for us!

We are 26 days away, so here is our very lose plan for arrival day and the first park day!

I arrive with Maren on Wednesday we will do a target run, set up the house. We will meet my best friend and her family for dinner as of now we are booked at Paradiso 37, i know nothing about it but the menu looks decent and i think it should be fine.

We will head back to the house and after Maren goes to bed i will pick up Rob and Dillon at the airport. He wasn't feeling her missing more then 2 days of school so they have a late flight.

i should let it go... but it drives me a bit crazy

Thursday is MK day, i debated getting EMM again, but this is supposed to be a not splurge trip, i am not calling it a budget trip... but not going all out on extras either.

We MAY head HS early to try and get a boarding group, but its up in the air, if we don't go this day we will probably miss out this trip, we will be back in May so not the end of the world.. but not ideal either! I am going to assume we do not make it to HS for this PTR.

Castle and coffee - Best ever!

We should be at MK by 8:30 for coffee and the opening show. We then will head to tomorrow land, i want to try and do the people mover, and maybe the speed way with Dillon. We have a Buzz FP for 9:25 ideally we would get there towards the end of the window (I may take Dillon to do big Thunder at rope drop) . some of us may hit up Space. I may make everyone (or do it by my self) the Carousel of Progress, its one of my favs and i haven't done it in a while. I also just got myself a nice Carousel of Progress shirt, so it may be a must do!

We then have an 11:35 at Crystal Palace, then have 12:25 FP for Pirates and then 1:55 FP for Haunted Mansion. We have hair cuts for all 3 kids around 4/4:20. I would like to try and fit in Small World, maybe Ariel, and Pooh during the day if possible.

Dillon is VERY excited to get more pixie dust, i debated moving them up, but to go all they way to the front of the park in the middle of the day seems silly.... i may regret not making them earlier!

After the haircuts we will head to the race expo to pick up our packets and purchase a bunch of unnecessary race items! By now my sister and her husband should have arrived so we will meet up with them and figure out dinner! Either order in, head out, make a reservation we will see!

Hopefully i will be back in a few days to update with the next days plans! Race day!

I may have gone over board on the Schitt's Creek Gifs, i may make all PTR updates all Schitt's Creek Gifs, I may have a problem - tell me you watch this show? and if you don't stop what you are doing go to netflix get some coffee and watch on my friend!

So i went over our vacation plans for the year today... and well i am over vacation days planned! By like 5 if i take most of the day i want, this is not including some long weekends i wanted to take.. i have some floating days i can use, but i am going to need to get creative with my trips, and cut back some days. The part that makes it really hard is if Dillon's school is closed we then need to find care for her, which we have but when she is off i really like to try and be off so we can spend time together! In addition only 2 of these trips are to Disney! Feb and May! I was trying to squeeze in an October trip, but its look more and more unlikely since that isn't even in my count above! EKKK

Anyway on to Feb plans!

Friday is my race! 5K day!!

We will probably head to the race early, be there by 4? I need to check what the schedule says as it isn't out yet, but figure its an early morning for me and my friend!

We hope to be done and back to the house by 8, i think this is realistic but is going to more depending on traffic getting back and such. Then we have a 11:20 Droid appointment. I figure we can relax at the house, swim take it easy and head to HS for this appointment. If its to chilly to swim we will head to HS earlier and do some shows or what not.

I am debating canceling the Droid all together, i am a bit excited to check it out and Dillon seems interested, but it is also a lot of money, and she isnt DYING to do it either.... not 100% sure what we will decide here.

Then we were able to score Millennium Falcon FP for 12:50, so we will head there, we have a 2pm FP on TSMM, and then a split between ToT and Star Tours at 3 and 3:15. At first we all had Star tours but since they changed the tiers we were able to get ToT and star tours got the boot.

We have an early dinner at Mama Melrose - 4pm haha!

Its pretty much lunch... but you know

Then the guys and my sister will head back to the house and put all the kids to bed and them selves for there race the next day. By this point i will probably have had about 10 coffees, BUT its Girls night at Epcot!

We will head to Epcot for some Drinks and Food and Arts Festival! We will hopefully still be home by 10, and head to bed!

Tomorrow the guys run a 10k, and the kids try to run, maybe?

I would aim for earlier if you can! We got there at 3:10 am which sounds crazy early lol but we were able to park super close to the security area. They opened security at 3:30 and we were amongst the first people through so the character lines and coffee lines were really short. By 4 the lines for everything were nuts. Plus the walk to the corrals was ridiculously long lol- it felt like we walked a 5k just to get there.

We hope to be done and back to the house by 8, i think this is realistic but is going to more depending on traffic getting back and such.

I think it's realistic. We were towards the middle of corral B and took our time and stopped for characters and everything and were back in the car at 730.
