I'm the same way with DIS...it's unreal....between FB and DIS...I dont' get much done when I just "jump on real quick!"

LOVE the Mickey Jewelry!! I've been eyeing up those earrings for awhile, they have different sizes in the parks and I never know what size to get! On my list for my upcoming trip, too!

Hey, great PTR so far!

I agree about the disboards, sometimes I go on at work "just for a few minutes" to clear my head and approach the work with a fresh head and then an hour goes by and I've fallen behind!

Can you believe august is pretty much over and our trip month is here?

Do you ever say to yourself, "I'm just going to get on Disboards for about 15 minutes & then get off". Then you've been on it forever?
I thought I spent too much time on Facebook, but this site is like Crackboards to me!
At least I'm learning new things about Disney, right?

I took my camera SD cards to the photolab this week to get all my pictures develop that were on them. I need to get caught up with pictures & SD cards cleared before I add Disney to it. I had around 1,000 pictures developed!!!

This week I bought a Mickey necklace & earrings from a friend at church who sells jewelry. I was not planing on buying any jewelry, but when I seen she had this, then I had to get it! I'm excited about my new jewelry for WDW!

15 Disboard minutes = 3 hours in my house

Love the jewellery! I am the same with these Boards....now I have a rule....on weeknights I don't go on until 9pm and on weekends....well I have no rules for weekendsLaundry, disboards, make a meal, disboards, general cleaning...well you get the idea

I didn't know they came in different sizes. Mine are the cheap costume jewelry . I wore them for the 1st time today & they are super cute!

No, I cannot believe Aug is almost over. For the longest time my trip was so far away, that now it's hard for me to change my thinking that's it's almost here!

On the days I do not work & the kids are in school & I should be dong is the time I mess up the most. That's when I say, "let me just look for 15 min.....", Other than that, I wait until after they are in bed before I get on. Then I just lose sleep!

I made a post on another thread in Disboards inquiring about Mickey Head antenna toppers. I wanted a topper for our trip, was checking them out on ebay & was unsure of what was a good price to pay.

Short story shorter: I received a message from a Diser that she had a extra Mickey Head topper & would love to send some pixie dust our way!!!


I did not tell Lexi/Levi that we were getting pixie dust in the mail. Yesterday, we were playing outside & Lexi went to the mailbox & started screaming, "We've got mail from Mickey"!
I knew our package had arrived.

I explained that someone on Disboards had sent us a gift for our trip. They were excited to open it & I was excited to see what our Mickey Head would look like.
And, look what we got-













TWO Mickey Heads!!! A BLUE one for Levi & a PINK one for Lexi!!!!

We received the sweetest note and blue & pink Mickey confetti!!!

After a little argument over whose Mickey Head would go one our van 1st, and then a game of Rock, Paper, Shoot to decide the winner, here is our antenna-

Thank you Diser Pam for the Pixie Dust!!! We LOVE our Mickey Head Toppers .

I know already this will be our favorite WDW gift/souvenir from our trip!!!

Wow, yours is really great. I am still trying to figure out if I want to do a small one or a big one. I think I may do a big one for our room and a small one for the park. After all the one for the park doesn't need our travel plans and everything. Just the park items such as ressies, daily activities, etc. Thanks for the idea

I stayed up late last night & finished my travel itinerary. I will keep it in my backpack during our trip.
My itinerary is in a Excel spreadsheet and it has ALL our information on it.
It has each of our planned days in the parks. Every ride for that park is listed & color coded by rides we definitely will do, maybe do & not interested in.
Wake-up time for that day listed & any special notes about the park we're visiting.
Also have pages with dining reservations #'s and WDW maps.

I purchased a cheap photo album to put our pages in.

Here's what it looks like:
