I agree - she's awful! I'm sure she's there for the drama, but, seriously, she has to go soon!

I busted up laughing when she complained about her partner trying to run the whole thing. LMAO she was bossing her partner around the whole show. She rags on Bev's talent saying all she can cook is Asian, again. That seems to be a bee in Heather's bonnet. But then when paired, she tells Bev she can't cook anything Asian, because it won't go with what she decided to make. Then when Bev mentions the onions, it's They're rustic. You'll l just have to compromise. LMAO she chides Bev for being one dimensional and then can't come out of her own one dimensional style when needed.

So - two days later and no reaction? I'm surprised at you all .

Iron Chef Zakarian is the lesser of the two evils, and if you watched, he'll have his first challenge Christmas night; but they really need a woman Iron Chef. Somehow they need to get either Anne or Alex on there permanently, too.

Really? Wow.

We watched. I thought it was particularly hard for them because the had to use SO many ingredients. It seemed like there were 8-10 to start out with and then two more got added during the challenge. I would have liked it to be the usual, one ingredient and used in many ways.

Poor Alex, she worked so hard at being the extra Sous Chef. I hope they gave her a bonus .

I watched, and I have to say I'm pretty surprised. I like Chef Zakarian (on Chopped) but I really thought Chef Falkner had it in the bag. I criticized her last week but I think she did a great job in the creativity dept for the final. She also did alot more, including baking so I am really surprised that Chef Z won. Not that his food was probably not less than spectacular, I just thought she was the better Iron Chef at the end. And he just doesn't have that Iron Chef look, especially with his Hello Kitty Band-Aids

We watched! I am not a fan of the new Iron Chef. No personality and lots of humility (NOT)!

How do you know AB didn't like the outcome? I am pretty observant and missed that!

They really did need a female Iron Chef. I was rooting for Alex. Or the blond who lost a while back.
But I guess it goes on how well they cook, right?

I said I wouldn't watch, and I didn't. I didn't like either one of them.

I watched, and I'm disappointed. I think that they forgot that Iron Chef is television; the one who makes the tastiest food is not necessarily the best to watch. Falkner is a much more interesting chef; I'd watch to see what she would come up with. Zakarian? I can't taste his food, and while his technique may be impeccable, it's just plain dull to watch.

I won't make it a point to watch him, although unlike Forgione, if I happen to have it on with him as Iron Chef, I may watch anyway.

Glad to find this thread again. I was happy with the outcome. I thought it was really stressful for them having to come up with 3 different holiday dishes in that hour, and THEN be given cranberries, the ice cream machine, and martini glasses as well that they HAD to do something with. It was nice to see they had extra help though to get through it all.
