Well, how did he like it. I am ready to start Natalie on her cereal. I still need to order her a highchair.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was crazy and relaxing all at the same time.:dance3:

I can't believe fall is really here. I had to turn on my heat this weekend. If it was just DH and I we would have kept it off, but with the baby, we had to turn it on.

Lilliana tried cereal for the first time on Saturday. She loved it. Then I tried it again yesterday and she wasn't as happy, I think it's because she was starving. Then her big brother tried feeding her and put the spoon to far into her mouth. I did go out and buy some fruits for her to try too. I'm excited for her to try new things but at the same time I dont' want her to grow up.

AWWWW!! Look how content he looks after having cereal! how cute!

I still dont have high chairs.. I know, crazy! We are waiting until we move into a bigger place, so we can just get a bigger table and get booster seats for the babies. Fisher Price (I think) has some nice ones I think we will get. I do NOT want two high chairs to fight with in my dining room.

So now that CJ is on Alimentum now.... I have a TON of regular/Early Shield Similac that if someone wants I will mail out. I have 3 of the smaller cans you can buy in the store (like 13-15oz or something?) and 2 8oz cans.

(Sorry I was lazy Stacy and never got it out... but I'm glad he's doing better on Alimentum!)

I have Nutramigen, too....

I guess I could donate it but if someone here would use it I'll send it out.

No problem, he's doing great on the Alimentum!! Just fedexed his script to my mail order pharmacy and they should process in a day or 2, then they will be overnighting me a months supply (no charge for them overnighting either)! I was worried they would come while we were away, so I was willing to pay the overnight fee to get them before we go and they said med supplies are done overnight at no charge!!

I did pick up one can tonight to bring to daycare, I have 3 sample cans (small 8 oz cans) left and go to the pedi on Friday, so I could get more samples...but I just wanted to make sure he had enough at daycare. All I have to do is submit the receipt w/claim form to my insurance co and they'll reimburse me! It still cost me about $5 for a can that is 1/2 the size of the $29 one that I normally get, but come next month it will be 100% covered til end of year!

He is such a cutie. And I just realized, I got rid of our highchair four years ago. I need one! (This is what happens when moms who think they are done having kids have "just one more.")

:lmao:Or when the doctor tells you that you cant have anymore kids and you have given up.. I got rid of all the baby stuff I had left right after I had my miscarriage. Then.. SURPRISE! :lmao::lmao:

Patsy, he looks so happy! Aww, I just love little Lucas, he's such a doll :) I hope we can do that Disney trip in a couple years so our kiddos can meet...and us too!

ETA: I don't have a high chair yet...I should probably get on that...

And then you got to replace it with two of everything!

I've had a high chair since I was 3 mos pregnant, but I haven't used it yet. I did try cereal again tonight after seeing how cute Lucas was! She ate a whole little bowl! Last weekend, she wouldn't touch it!

Soon to be mom here . . . I was wondering how soon you started using your swings, and if you even used them at all. We haven't gotten one yet (weren't given one at the showers) and I haven't gotten around to it. I would LOVE your opinions on when I NEED it and if it is useful :)

Katie HATED her swing. We ended up giving it away. I think it really depends on the baby. Luckily, I got a great deal on a high chair, swing, and pack n play, all together in one set, so I didn't waste a ton of money on it.

Here she is enjoying her oatmeal!

I know it! Thank goodness for friends and family!

With my older two, I used it from the time we brought the babies home from the hospital and used them ALL the time. It was a complete necessity.. The twins hated the swing though. Thank goodness I was given one, and didnt pay for one. If you have a childrens consignment shop, you should check there.. that way you wont pay a lot for one in case you dont use it.

used it from day one on the lowest setting. allison has gone through periods of liking it and not. one day she napped in there for 5 hours when she was a few weeks old! at that time, it made it all the more worth it. we still use it at night to calm her down sometimes and she is almost 7 months!

The swing was a MUST HAVE for us. Lucas was in that thing just mere hours after we got home from the hospital.

He LOVES his swing. He doesn't nap in his crib, he naps in his swing. He watches TV in his swing (his swing is by the TV and he'll turn his head sometimes and watch :rotfl:) and he just chills out in his swing.

I swear to you, that thing saved us. He adores it. I think he naps at least 10 hours a day in it. I like that he's with me, too.... no wondering about him up in his crib. We just use the crib for him to sleep at night. :)

He's just now starting to get a bit fussy in his swing. I think he wants to be with us more, be able to move around more... but he still naps in it!! :thumbsup2

Natalie LOVES her swing!!! I got it on sale at Kohl's on-line. It is a Fisher Price papasan swing. :cool1:

Adi, Jake LOVES his swing and has been in it since pretty much the first week I brought him home. That's the only place he will nap longer than 20 minutes. Just the other day he slept for 3 hours in it! I have the Graco Sweet Peace Newborn Soothing Center...or something like that. It wasn't cheap but thank God it ended up being worth the money cause I get a lot of use out of it :thumbsup2
