The "Newest" Moms Hangout...

OK - J doesn't want the $11 off coupon for Nestle - it's still up for grabs if anyone wants it.

I'll have to google that line Patsy...my mom saw it right after delivery and thought I had a scar because it was so dark.

When you guys were pregnant, did any of you have a dark brown line appear down the center of your belly? When did it go away? Mine is still hanging around and I hope it goes away or at least gets lighter...

I got the line and it is still there. A bit lighter but still there. Natalie is a little over 3 months old now.

Hi Ladies...hope everyone and the little ones are great!

Emma has been sleeping like a champ at night. 8-6 no complaints here.

Does anyone else feel like their little ones are flying through diff. size diapers.
I feel like she is ready to move on to size 3 diapers soon. My little Chubba Bubba is growing fast.

I have to take DS (35 months) for his flu shot. I can't wait for him to get it. The pedi office keeps running out and already cancelled on me once.

Emma just found herself in the mirror on her swing, she is trying to talk to herself...so darn cute!

We are going through diapers like crazy.. Vinny is growing out of size fours right now. Jasmine is still fine in them.

The next ones I buy will be size 2. I am trying to make it thru all the size 1 and 1-2 I have left. Natalie is getting soooo big. She has been sleeping great as well. She goes down between 8-9 pm and gets up at 7-8 am. I am ready to start her on cereal. She won't be 4 months until the 18th and our next doctor app't is not until the 21st.

Jasmine FINALLY slept through the night last night!! Thank goodness. She was doing so well for a while, and then just stopped. Hopefully we are back on track now. If only I could get Kaylee to stay in her bed.

I pumped for the first time today and got 2.5 oz total. I ended up pumping twice - once on each side when he ate from the other. I don't think that's too bad given he's also BFing too...though he did cluster feed afterwards...

How's everyone doing? It's almost the weekend - is anyone doing anything exciting?

Nothing exciting here. I have my final for my online class I have to do either Fri night or Sat morning. We can start it at any time tomorrow or Sat, but we only have a 2 hour block once we start. The Catholic church (the subject of my paper in my class-multicultural counseling) is having mass in the park Sat morning and I'm planning to attend that, then work on my paper. It is due Monday night. And then I am finished!!!!! My next class doesn't start until Oct 19, so I'll have a little bit of time off from school. :woohoo:

Eek, sorry I haven't gotten back to you on your survey. :flower3: This has been a tough week, getting tag teamed by the twins most nights, when one sleeps the other is up....

Plus my mom has been unavailable to come by & help (so I can nap) during the day. My younger sister had a gallbladder attack last weekend. It was so bad that her bile ducts got blocked w/ "sludge" & she needed a procedure to unblock them on Tuesday before they could get to the gallbladder surgery today. (Reminds me I need to check in with my mom to see how she came out of surgery...)

So I've been extra tired this week, feels like I don't have 2 brain cells left to rub together..... but I'll try to do your survey tomorrow, if the kids allow......

We have no heat... the HVAC people (that just installed our system in MAY) can't see us until tomorrow and Lucas' poor little hands are like ice. I've got the space heater next to him but it's not enough. :(

Like Emma, Lucas will be moving up to size 3 diapers pretty soon. I'm not moving him up until he absolutely doesn't fit in 2's anymore OR whenever the two open packages are gone. He goes for his 4month appt. on Monday and I'm going to discuss starting him on cereal and carrots.

Nothing too exciting going on here... my brother's last weekend in America. I think we're going to hit the American restaurants he'll miss.... never-ending-pasta-bowl at Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. and my mom is making Cincinnati Style Chili Sunday after the two of us do some breast cancer walk. A weekend with family before he heads down under.

This might be TMI (but isn't there a lot of that on this thread and our last? lol) but did anyone else have a MAJOR change in their period after baby? Before Lucas they were never longer than 3 days and the pain in my back was easily fixed with a few OTC ibuprofen.
This one started Sunday, I've taken Vicodin and Motrin (the potent ones, from my c-section) all day and I still feel horrible. Cramps, back pain, nauesa. I'm a mess. Anyone else?

Don't worry about it! If you can get to it, I will appreciate it, but if you can't, I completely understand! I haven't even started yet:guilty:, and probably won't until Sat or Sun. I'm a great procrastinator, except when it comes to planning Disney trip!;) I hope your sister is better!

HEAT! We still have the AC on. It has gotten in the upper 40s a couple of nights, which was nice. I hate you are having problems with your new house.

I still haven't had a pd, so I can't help you there. I really don't remember what it was like with the 1st two.

Katie is in size 3 diapers. Next week we only have 4 days of school (we get a one day fall break on Friday). I have to clean out all of her 3-6 mos clothes and wash and put up the 6-9 mos ones. Her onesies are hard to snap, and the few pants we have to go over them are tight! Ds12 said it looked like she was wearing "popstar" pants the other day! All of her bigger clothes are in the bottom of her pack n play, with the bassinet on top. She is moving around so much now (just about crawling-she gets up on her hands and knees and rocksprincess:) so I need to lower the bed. She still doesn't sleep in it, but I put her there to play a few min at a time. I just don't know where I'll put all the clothes now!

Ugh, I'm so jealous!!

We had air on earlier this week but it got COLD! It's insane how quick it happened but poor Lucas looks so cold.
It's definitely not normally this cold this soon. I remember sweating this weekend last year (the weekend I found out about Lucas being on the way!)...

Our next diapers will be size 2's as well.

Alexis slept from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. yesterday, but I was so sure that she wouldn't that I woke up constantly all night long to see if she was OK. I hope she does it again. I'm ready to believe her tonight. ;)

My 11 year-old daughter and her friends sound as if they are making big plans for tomorrow, but the rest of us don't have much except for all the college football on Sat.

I have had some crazy periods since the twins came. It is REALLY heavy for a couple of days.. REALLY heavy. I used to have such mild ones. Now its like Im dying!

Have you tried putting socks on his hands to keep them warm? I used to do that with my youngest when we lived with my parents. We slept on the lower level, and it was COLD down there. Now we are good in blanket sleepers.

I bought 12 month sleepers for the kiddos... and they are already outgrowing them. :headache: I dont know what to do with these kids. They just totally bypassed 6-9 months. They are so freaking HUGE. I had some winter clothes on layaway for them that I had to take off.. They out grew it all before I could get it off. I cant carry both car seats anymore.. they are so heavy. Its too funny when Alex tried to carry one of the babies. He is only like 50 pounds, and they are half his weight! :lmao:

Patsy, my first period was really bad. Worst I ever had. I did not know if it was due to tubal, not being on birth control (is was on for decades!), or just that is was my first after Emma and it was a while before I got one. Not looking forward to next one, people told me they get worse after tubal. :scared1:

I am finishing up my package of size 2 swaddlers and then buying 3s going forward. She is in a ton of diff size clothes. I have some cute Christmas outfits people bought me that are 12 months. I thought they were going to be huge on her, but the maybe not as big as I thought.

DH is planning on painting DS's big boy room tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed that it finally happens and we can get the kids settled into their own rooms. Emma is still in my room in a pack and play, and DS is still in the crib. He will be three this month and has never tried to escape the crib. I am going to miss him not being able to get out.

TGIF, have a nice weekend all.

I can't remember who has Rite Aids but they have some decent deals on Pampers, Huggies and Luvs.

Luvs has a $2 rebate back (you can get a $5 coupon off their website).
Pampers is a $10 gift card back with $30 purchase. Use Pampers coupons and a $5/$25 coupon to pay even less.
Huggies is buy 5 packages get a voucher for the 6th free. Again, use the $5/$25 coupons and Huggies coupons to save more.

You also get money back as part of their "Gift of Savings" thing... different $$ amounts depending on how much you spend (before coupons).

Hey ! There are some awesome coupons for toys on...

www.coupons.com

I printed them all real quick ( I bet they'll hit their print limit pretty quickly) but I'll post back whenever I figure out what they all are and the ages for the toys.

The HVAC people are here right now, yay!!

$5 Tumble N Twirl Top (6m+)

I have issues with trying to print in Firefox sometimes.
