We are headed back to WDW this December. We are a family of 2 adults, 5 kids (1-14yo). We have stayed on and off property in the past. Most recently, we stayed at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek and loved it! Mostly, the proximity to the parks and being "in the bubble." We are going for the parks, so don't plan to do anything else in Orlando. This year, we are taking my MIL and are considering renting a home offsite to have more space. The 23 month old could also have her own room since she doesn't share a room here at home (5 year age gap between her and older siblings 
).
We actually already have a 3-bedroom booked at Club Wyndham, but more bedrooms and bathrooms sounds amazing. If we were at Club Wyndham, baby would room with us and someone would have to get the sleeper sofa. We are looking specifically at Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills. I just worry about the extra 5-10 minute drive, especially during high traffic hours. And, not being in the bubble.
I have decision paralysis and would love any input, please!!!
(Also, are the resorts water slides worth it in December?)
