Kathi

I don't have a countdown timer but I'm leaving tomorrow right after work...

Hope you have a great time!! :wave2:

To everyone leaving soon to visit the Lodge, have a MAGICAL TRIP.
Remember coffee pots are already in the room, but you may want to take some of your coffee from home.

Morning Lodgers,
Guess this little thread slipped to page 2 because you're all so darn busy packing, or driving, or flying. "Are we there yet?", several of you should be and if you're reading this I hope you're fixing to head out. And if you're not heading to a park, I hope you're headed for Roaring Forks (caution: steer away from the pin kiosk, I promise they'll be there when you get back.), where you'll get a fruit cup, breakfast pizza and WL mug filled to the brim with the beverage of choice. Head out the door right in front of Roaring Forks and meander to a table with umbrella and have a seat. Listen to the music, watch the ducks, smile and nod at the lifeguard and know that every one of us wishes we were there!
Fred, I will pm you. Pretty sure there is laundry being done and packin going on at your place. I know, I had daughters. Side Note: The WL rooms are large enough to accomadate 1 male (DH), Moi, Moi's really big 'lectric wheelchair that has to bed down near an outlet and 1 24 year old female (DD), the vast accroutrements she took to WDW and the motherlode of treasures she purchased at WDW. The rooms are not all that small!
Okay, where was I, oh, Fred, have a grand time with your ladies!

Is there any advantage to having a super early lodging reservation? I made my lodging only ressie almost a year in advance of the date for two rooms. Now, I probaly will split the two rooms into seperate ressies so that I can add different options (meal plan and ticket numbers). By changing the date the original resservation was made, will I "lose" anything like perks or "place" in line for room request or potential upgrades?

In short, do they use the date of the ressie to determine the pecking order for room request?
Thanks.

I am now under the 30-day mark!! I can't tell you how truly excited I am to be staying at WL and WDW in such a short while!

I know that this may have already been asked, but will friges be in WL rooms in February?? I am about to book FL Tours, and want to add the 30-minute grocery stop option if the friges are in the room already. We'd probably buy: milk, Nesquik (DH and I love chocolate milk!), Coke, and some snacks. The milk won't last if the room isn't ready or if we have to wait for a frige to be delivered.

I am afraid that if I call CRO and try to add that request to my ressie, they may screw up and erase my previous requests (Woods View, Lobby, 6th Floor).

P,S. Where in the room do they put the friges??

Thanks in advance!!

:wave2:

I do not think they will be in the rooms yet. You have to call housekeeping to get it. We were not charged for it when we got it. They are placed under the sinks, so they are out of the way.
I can not wait either. I keep asking my DH when we can book our next trip. AP's burning a hole in my pocket.
Take care and for those of you who are on your way...........Pixie Dust for good times!!

MY lodge pics have been updated once again. I think that this is it though
I've gone through all my recent trip pics and think i found em all.
its up to almost 200 now from 70 before.

I think that the next installment will be illuminations (loved using tripod this trip)

We are too! Wasn't planned that way on purpose though. Any suggestions which parks will be busy on which days? We arrive 1/13. Do they still run buses directly to the MK or was that just a trial? I can't wait. :jumping4:

Erika,

I'm pretty sure that you can get all of that at the mercantile. Of course it will cost a little more, but if FL Tours charges for a grocery stop you may still be ahead of the game.

I agree. You're on vacation! Live it up. :)

Thanks for the input :)! FL Tours does not charge for the grocery stop, so we may just get a 6-pack of Coke and some snacks.

Trust me, we will live it up--but within limits ;). We're getting a luxury car service--used FL Tours on our last trip to WDW in Oct. 2003 and are now spoiled with that. We aren't usually breakfast people, but we will DEFINITLEY be eating at WCC for breakfast 3 out of the 4 days we will be there (LOVE their omelet with everything in it). We also have dinner PSs at Marrakesh, LTT, 'Ohana, and Palio (love their Caesar salad with freshly imported anchovies and their tortelloni with lobster---YUM!). I am sure we will order room service at least once during this trip (DH loves this). Just being at WDW is living it up for us--I also love the PLANNING :)!

BTW, Fred, have a magical and fun-filled trip! You must be so excited to be leaving in less than 48 hours!! And you'll have all your beautiful women with ya :)

:wave2:

I know it is here somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find it...

Can someone please direct me to where I can find a list of food items offered in concierge?

Also, can you add concierge service to a discounted room, or are concierge rooms always rack rate? We are planning a mid=June stay at the wonderful WL and would like to consider concierge.

Thanks! You guys are great :cool1:
