I was there in August and there was not a bus to the TTC. You'll need to take the bus to Epcot. You could boat to the Contemporary and get on the monorail, but that would take much longer.

I'm doing GREAT thanks for asking. Hope you and your family are doing good, how is your Mother? Tell Judy she has been missed around here.

Thanks for the info!
Another question -- is Cub's Den open in the afternoons for non-babysitting services? Just wondering if it has parent-supervised activities similar to the Neverland Club in the afternoons.
And is there a playground at WL?
Thanks!

pooch said:oh please say it ain't so!!! I'm so excited to be staying at our first Deluxe. I couldn't bear it if the rooms were shabby as a recent Resorts board poster reported. There is a difference between just needing mousekeeping to come in and do a better cleaning job (can happen anywhere) and the room being tired and worn looking. I know AKL is newer and comparably priced but I like WL's theming better I think. Please reassure me!!!

so I didn't respond to her thread. HERSEY said:A couple of questions. Are the children activies geared more for younger or a mix. My Ds is 11. Also is there a charge for the coffee pots if you want them in your room. Thanks

Javajjavaj said:Thanks for the straightforward answer. I've stayed in the CR wings so I understand the "dings and wear and tear" on Disney resort rooms. I had just thought the WL rooms were in better condition than the CR wing rooms.
Can't say I still won't have second thoughts about switching to the Poly, but for now, I will stick with our current WL ressie.

P.S.: When I stayed over at the Grand Floridian @ Christmas there were marks and dings there also.
Hi. I'll second all above said... We stayed at Grand Floridian in a NEWLY renovated building and we still had some problems with the bathroom - which were not fixed during our staying. Even though we enjoyed our vacation - but didn't have the very best!!!

I would love to reassure you that your room would be in pristine condition I can't. The Wilderness Lodge is over 12 years old, they have already started refurbishing the rooms. This takes time so I don't have any idea on a time frame.
