I am very excited - making my first visit to the WL for a one night stay December 3!

OK, here's a dopey question, but how many sleighs do they have operating at once? Just wondering, since I noticed on another thread that another DIS-er had a sleigh ride scheduled the same night and time as us. So I'm assuming there are multiple sleighs?

thanks :) ! That really helps. Does the sleigh return you to the Lodge when the sleigh ride is over?

lisadam: You've been waiting a long time for a response. I do not think it would be rude at all to call them directly to see if they received your email. You might say that you sent your email to them last Friday and that you're just making sure that you sent it to the right address ;)

FlyingBelle: Concierge Level (CL) at WL is the Old Faithful Club. My upcoming trip will be my first CL stay. We will only have CL the last night of our stay, so I can't definitively say that it is worth it. But if it were me going to WL just to experience the hotel and nothing else (i.e., parks), I'd go for CL.

Book quickly though; I tried booking WL for 11/9-11/14--BOOKED SOLID. And as I was looking for a friend for my dates (12/12-12/16), I wa tld "NO AVAILABILITY". Good luck, and here's some pixie dust for you :wizard: !

rw hadley: I like your question. . . anyone have any answers :confused3 ?
:wave2:

We just returned from a wonderful vist at the Lodge (of course). DS4 was playing w/ the Lincoln Logs at WC and is really into building right now. I forgot to look at the set they have at the gift shop. Does anyone know the price???

I know the Laughing Place sells it but they usually come close to doubling their prices on things.

I'll call merchandising but did not know if they could give a price quickly.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

It's 50.00......I regretted not buying them on our August trip and emailed Disney for the price.

Andy'sgirl: Thanks for the reply. They must have raised the price. I call the Mercantile a little while ago and they told me $65. :confused3

I know it was $93 from Laughing Place with shipping so we'll see what the grand total from Disney Merchandising is.

I only hit the Merc 2 or 3 times on our whole trip. Very busy going w/ 2 little ones. After the 4yr old going to every gift shop in the parks I tried to avoid any extra's I could!!! Now I regret not getting those for him.

Wonder if they ship food too? I LOVE those 4 pack of boxed chocolate pretzels!!

This was from an email received Aug 30/06 from Disney (shipping is for US)

Wilderness Lodge Lincoln Log Set
Sku 127-61600, $50.00

Regular ground shipping and handling within the continental United States is according to the following schedule. Delivery dates refer to merchandise that is in stock:

Merchandise Value Shipping Charges

$0. - $24.99 = $8.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $18.95 Air (approx) 7 Business Days
= $22.95 Air (approx) 5 Business Days

$25 - $99.99 = $10.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $20.95 Air (approx) 7 Business Days
= $24.95 Air (approx) 5 Business Days

$100.00 plus = $15.95 Ground(approx) 20 Business Days
= $25.95 Air (approx) 7 Business Days
= $29.95 Air (approx) 5 Business Days

Hope this helps! :sunny: Shipping to Canada is outrageous so I guess I will have to pick it up in person if I ever get back.

Andysgirl: Thanks..do you have an email for Disney Merchandising or does all this have to be done over the phone?

Yes - you return exactly where you started. It sounds very romantic. I was also warned not to assume the sleigh ride is cancelled if the weather is bad. You still need to meet the driver at the scheduled time and he/she will decide then. There is also a 24-hour cancellation policy - otherwise you are charged.

I hope you enjoy and the weather is perfect if you decide to do this. pixiedust:

Your wedding picture is beautiful.

Sorry - I do not have the answer to this one. I was under the impression there was only one sleigh - Sounds like that isn't so???

:confused3

I had heard that the lobby stream was suppose to be working again today. I'll be at the WL on Wed and home next week so I'll be sure to post my findings.

I think the outside work is going to take longer- I had heard by Thanksgiving they hoped to be scaffold free.

If you can let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

I have always shipped Fed Ex Ground to the Wilderness Lodge. Package takes about 3 days from Indiana. I like it because I am able to track the package and make sure it gets there before I ever leave home. I am shipping on Monday and we arrive on Friday. Good Luck!

Wow, I didn't realize ground was so quick! I guess I can wait until the week before to send it out. Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2
