We are going 01/31-02/06. Can't wait to be back at the lodge. There are 9 of us going. I've booked woods view for my family and my parents. The other couple going with us will be bringing their newly adopted baby. My question is: Are there any standard view rooms by woods view rooms? If not, they will have to book woods view so that we can hopefully be in the same area. TIA.

Look into the Magical Gathering thing that is available to parties of 8 or more. They will link your parties reservations together so your rooms can be near each other.

Might be changing my dates for Dec and room choice. What is different and included in the Standard Club Level rooms? I know it has the bunk and queen but what the heck is the difference in pay for? Thanks! Just trying to figure the if I want to pay the difference in the CYB and the SCLB.

The room itself is the same, You just get the benefits of being on Club Level with the club level rooms....seperate concierge, continental breakfast, beverages at several times during the day, evening hors d'oeuvres, evening cocktails, etc.

ETA: The view may be different too...CYB is courtyard view....I'm not sure what the "standard" view is on Club Level. Possibly Woods View?

GatorEye got me thinking....Is there really a bad room/view at the WL? If you think you had one, post a pic! I'm starting to think that even a standard room is still a great room...even though I've never stayed in one.

We are thinking of staying at WL next fall. I will have a 8 month old baby and a 7 yr old and 6 yr old...are bunk bed rooms extra??? and are the cribs just pack and plays?? anyone stayed w/ young babies before?? looking for advice. TIA

The Bunk Beds are bookable at an additional cost. The Woods View Rooms with Bunk Beds are an additional $20.00 a night, The Courtyard View Rooms with Bunk Bed are $25.00 additional a night.

The cribs are the pack & plays, we have stayed many times at the Lodge when my nephews were infants with no problems. Most visits my nephews would just sleep in the bed with my DSis. Never really used the pack & plays much, except when they were very small. She would bring bedding (blankets, sheets, snuggle bunnies...ect) from home. There is a microwave at Roaring Fork to warm bottles, cereal, baby food. The Mercantile has a few items for infants, daiper's, Similac. The baby food and juice were a dollar per jar, the Apple Sauce and Peaches were a little over $3.00, I'm sorry I don't remember the price of the Similac.

I am sure that my view is going to be pretty crappy but we are already paying more than $900.00 to upgrade from the CBR to the WL. We are going to the WL more for the feel of the ENTIRE resort not the view from our balcony.

Does anybody know where the standard view rooms are located within the lodge? Just wondering about how far away they are from everything.

STANDARD ROOMS:Have 2 Queen Beds. Located on Floors 4,5 & 6. On the North(MK) side, they face the service area. There are also 4th floor rooms that overlook the lobby and look out to roof peaks.

Abminer, there are Courtyard View Rooms located right across the hall from some of the Standard View rooms. So being near your parents shouldn't be a problem.

Lisa, I'm posting a general map of the Lodge and the locations of the Standard View Rooms so you can see were they are located in the Lodge.

Our standard view was on the 5th floor in the Lobby. Room 5091 our balcony was right over the baggage services section.

I suggest that you try and get a room in the "main building".

We didnt' even sit outside the balcony once, we were there in July.

Actually if you were in room 5091, you were upgraded to a Woods View. Standard View Rooms are located only on the 4th floor off the Lobby, over check-in. The area over check-in on floors 5 and 6 are Wood View rooms.

I just can't go thru hundreds of back pages so I apologize in advance because I'm sure this question has been asked and answered...What exactly is the deluxe club level? Is it the same as concierge at Poly or CR? What kind of view is there? Is deluxe different from junior suite? thank in advance for any/all answers as I again second guess my resort choice.
