Naw, it's just a big ol' lime green mickey-head-a-palooza.

Dunno about that. Last December we were there for a week and I never saw one Lime Green Mickey in WL or in the parks (despite the fact I made my DW think I was nuts for bringing them myself). :)

I just can't go thru hundreds of back pages so I apologize in advance because I'm sure this question has been asked and answered...What exactly is the deluxe club level? Is it the same as concierge at Poly or CR? What kind of view is there? Is deluxe different from junior suite? thank in advance for any/all answers as I again second guess my resort choice.

No need to apologize it is a long thread, I would ask that you read page 1 as many questions can be answered in the information we have posted there. All questions are welcomed plus we get to know you a little.

A Deluxe Club room is what they use to call a Junior Suite that sleeps 6 since the first a the year they also come with club level access (concierge) even though none of the rooms are located on the 7th floor.

DELUXE-TWO QUEEN BEDS & ONE SOFA BED
The Deluxe rooms have now been upgraded to Club Level (Concierge) they sleeps 6. The Deluxe Guest Room has a sitting area separated from the bedroom by french doors, additional television, refrigerator with ice machine, coffeemaker, and wet bar.
All of these rooms do offer a connecting option that would be a room with 2 queen beds or a room with one king bed that is either woods or courtyard view.

There are actually 25 "Deluxe Rooms" (Junior Suites) They are 1000, 1003, 1166, 1169, 2000, 2003, 2123, 2166, 2169, 3000, 3003, 3123, 3166, 3169, 4000, 4003, 4123, 4166, 4169, 5000, 5003, 5123, 5166, 5169 and 6123.

Rooms X000 are the rooms in the North wing that are at the very end of the hall on the left corner, Contemporary side they are Lake/tree view, X003 are the 2 doors down on the right corner with a pool/lake/tree view rooms X123 are halfway down the south wing in the left corner overlooking the pool/lake/geyser. Room X166 is the room at the far end of the south wing on the left corner with a lake view and rooms X169 are 2 doors down on the right corner also with a lake view. Rooms 2123, 3123, 1166, 1169, 2166, and 2169 have "doormer balconies, due to the design of the building these rooms have brick on the balcony railing so you can not see out unless you are standing up (if you sit you see brick), just FYI.

Click on the link below for a general map of the Lodge and were these rooms are located:

Thank you MagininMyHeart - DH and I have been discussing all night. As it stands, we will change ressie to Poly for 2008 and plan on Junior Suite for 2009. Then we will probably take a "Disney Break" (hard on mom) and do some trips like Boston, DC, etc.

GatorEye & Ransom

I will be at the Lodge from December 8-13, 2007 during both of your stays maybe we can meet up, and say Hi. We have to leave Thusday the 13th as my DN is graduating Saturday from the University of Florida.

Have a great vacation, we'll be here if you need any more information. The Poly is a beautiful resort I have spent many wonderful vacations there.

Aloha

I was just kiddin' around - imagine the Lodge with wall-to-wall DISers! :)

We didn't see anyone last year with lime green on.

I know there are a lot of Dis-ers going to WL this Christmas, but what about 2008??? I am going the week of Dec.23 to December 30, 2008, anyone else out there big time planners and have a vacation set for next Christmas??? Just curious, want to make sure I am not alone at the Lodge:lmao: !!!
:santa:

I'm joining the December 2007 crew. :)

We'll be there (no kids!) with my Mom, Dad, 2 sisters and their DHs. So 4 rooms, December 1st - 5th!

Cindy's Mom
Actually if you were in room 5091, you were upgraded to a Woods View. Standard View Rooms are located only on the 4th floor off the Lobby, over check-in. The area over check-in on floors 5 and 6 are Wood View rooms. :confused3

Congratulations

OH MY......Everyone, I apologize - I just remembered we had woods view bunk beds - so I wasn't upgrade we actually paid for that. :lmao: :lmao:

Our view was so horrible, (parking lot), I guess I put in my mind that is was "standard". Sorry for the mistake everyone.

Cindy's Mom, I was so sad we didn't run into each other on our trips in July!

Me too. I didn't run into one DISer there.

If you were there on July 25th....my son was "Sheriff of the Day" at the Pool. so maybe you saw him at least.

THere's always next year....

Lisa, I'm posting a general map of the Lodge and the locations of the Standard View Rooms so you can see were they are located in the Lodge.

Wilderness Lodge Room #'s and Locations

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been trying to remember our room # from 3 years ago and this really helped. It was a great CY view room but I couldn't remember if it was 1st or 2nd floor. I was able to just scoot down the hall in my wheelchair, through a side door and I was outside. Now I know it was 1st floor. Hope I can get a room on that hall again but, if not, I'm still at the WL and that's a very good thing!
Congratulations on the upcoming graduation!

OMG that does make it worst...I have never stayed in any of these rooms over check-in.

Nope you're not crazy! I'm going a couple of weeks BEFORE Christmas(December 7-13, 2008) to miss the crowds! My DH thinks I'm obsessed too. :rotfl2:

Made our reservations for Dec. 5th through the 13th 2008. We are not Christmas, but right there with you for Dec. 2008 :dance3:

My husband thinks I'm a loon as well! :rotfl: Although he loves that everything will be planned out and he won't have to do any of it. :woohoo:

Now I'm just hoping to find a woodsview with bunkbeds. We have a courtyard view with bunkbeds booked now, but I keep checking to see if one of the cheaper rooms becomes available. Would love to save some money, but we are staying at WL either way! :thumbsup2

I had to take the Courtyard w/ bunk beds, I also wanted to have the woods view. Now my DH wants to stick with the courrtyard, we had a courtyard view 2 times before and it was really nice.:santa:

Can I just tell you that I have 3 CY rooms with bunk beds right now!! :lmao: We need 3 rooms for sure, but not 3 with bunk beds!! I sure hope they release woodsview rooms soon!

I'm just starting that day on my T.R. we did go to the pool, but we swam at the villa one!
