What time does the first bus leave in the mornings for MK?

We have an 8:05am reservation at CRT. What time do they start letting people with ADRs in when the park opens at 9:00am? Do they not let you in until right at 8:00 or can you get in earlier to have time to walk down to the castle?

We just returned last night. It was wonderful to be back at WL. We got to be flag family yesterday for my b-day. It was really nice.

The parks were unbelievably crowded compaired to last year. I heard that the NY schools were closed for a 4 day weekend and GA schools were also closed for the whole week.

We had a great time and spent lots of time swimming in the pool at WL to get out of the heat. Hope we can return next year again. I have already started working on DH about that.

BTW, we got upgraded from a WV to a CV. The first time we ever got an upgrade. We were in room 4019. Great view of the pool. Although the hotel was sold out, it was really quiet.

We had an 8:05 a CRT ADR too. IIRC - the gates opened up at 7:45a.

We got there at 7:30a. What we did - to get the most sleeping time we could we took at taxi to the Contemporary ($4 plus tip) and then we walked there. It took all of 15 minutes. Way way better than waiting for the bus or the boat. I must admit I was skeptical of the walk, but it was so simple, I was embarrased that I made a fuss about it to the valet guys at the CR.

The busses start running @ 7:00am so you shouldn't have any trouble getting to your breakfast ADR in time.

Remember the Blue Flag Boats start running between the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge @7:00am also you could take the resort boat to the Contemporary then walk like Cindy's Mom did.

Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom you will go through the security check then go to the left, there will be a sign directing you to a line for guest with early ADR's they will have a list of guest names with ADR's and you will be admited so you can make it to CRT in time for your reservations.

If you don't see the sign just ask one of the Cast Members to assist you.

Here I am! I'm right there with you. I'm already thinking about our trip everyday and we have 15 months to go. How are we going to make it until Dec. 2008.
We'll be at there from Dec. 6 - 14. We can't wait to see the Lodge all decked out for Christmas. I think it's the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen!
I'm looking forward to hear about everyone's trip reports and pictures from this December. All of you have a magical time!

Going Dec. 2-8, 2007 and booked Dec. 7-13, 2008 over a month ago. You aren't the obsessed any more than we all are.

Back for the Christmas Holidays, this horsdrawn "sleigh" ride is a fun way to celebrate the season at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Are the air conditioners in the rooms at the WL the "central air" style, or are they the (noisy) units that sit near the windows? I am guessing the former, but was wondering!

The air conditioners are central air/heat with the controls located in the room.

Do you know if you take the
9pm sleigh ride if you can see wishes from it? I booked the 9pm ride hoping to see the fireworks from our sleigh but have no idea if that is even possible? Would appreciate any info!!

Nope...the sleigh ride leaves the Lodge and travels to Ft. Wilderness then returns, this area is wooded with no clear view of the Magic Kingdom. Sorry

I reserved Saturday Night December 8, 2007@ 8:30pm. I hoped we could have dinner earlier what do you think.
