Well, I wanna get wild and soaked! Splash Mountain, please!!! Yippee! I am going to have a zip-a-dee-do-da-day!!!!!

I was just thinking the same thing!

OK, we have to ride Splash Mountain this morning (at least once).

I just want all of you to know that llebrekniT is just as grumpy on the phone as she is here at the DIS this morning. We have to do something! I think after we ride all her favorite rides this morning at Magic Kingdom, we should take her to lunch. Any ideas? I need a guarantee that the food will be perfect. None of us will want to be around if her food does not taste right.

RRBB, I can answer the Nancy-pants questions for llebrekniT. OK, a little history. My oldest brother, Don, is the favorite child. He can do no wrong & knows what is best in any situation. It's OK, we all know it is true, I don't need therapy or anything, I have accepted it (as has my other brother, llebrekniT's DH). Well, my mom cannot say no to Don or his lovely wife, Nancy-pants. Actually, she rarely says "no" to anyone, but no one takes advantage of her quite like Don & Nancy-pants. Anyway, Don & Nancy-pants never miss an event. They go to every UK basketball & football game, every concert that comes to Lexington, Louisville, or Cincinnati, they attend every wedding to which they can score an invitation. This is all fine, except they have 3 kids that they never take with them to ANYTHING. I understand not taking your kids to some things, but they don't even take their kids out to dinner with them.....ever!! Now, just to be fair, llebrekniT & I are very opposite from them in that we take our kids everywhere with us. Ok here is the problem we have with Don & Nancy-pants. They leave their 3 rotten kids with my mom & dad all the time. Everytime they had another kid, we said "well, now they will have to stay home more". Nope, not a chance. Their social calendar has not changed one bit. If they both aren't gone for the weekend, at least one is always out of town at all times. Anyway, my mom is planning January birthday dinners (llebrekniT, llebrekniT's DH & Don) & Don said "how about Friday, so then we can take the kids to the lake house after dinner for the weekend". OK, this works for everyone. Well, I talked to my mom this morning who said she wouldn't be able to go to llebrekniT's DS-Daniel's basketball game Saturday morning as Don & Nancy-pants have decided to leave all 3 rotten kids at my mom & dad's house so they can visit with a friend for the night. OK, there is no event they are attending (no game, concert, wedding or funeral), they just want to visit a friend for the night! Anyway, this may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but it drives us nuts as it happens ALL THE TIME! My mom works part-time during the week, as does my dad, so the weekend is a time they enjoy staying around the house. Now, they get crazy, nusto, screaming Madeline, Griffin & Brock! OK, I have vented & feel much better, now. :wave2:

For you HB! :teeth:

SHAKE IT
SHAKE IT
SHAKE IT
SHAKE IT
SHAKE IT LIKE A POLAROID PIT-CHAAAA...

HEEEEEEYYYYY YA
HEY YAAAAA...

I'm 5'6" tall.

Now I have to go back to that personality quiz website and take some more quizes in order to find myself. ;)

Oh yeah. My absolutely favorite MK ride is Thunder Mountain. You'll have to do Splash Mountain without me. I can't stand those long drops where you feel like you are falling out. :scared:

I went on Tower of Terror last year and declared it what hell would be for me (if I believed it hell ;) ).

Makes you wonder why people like that even bother to have kids in the first place. I can totally understand why y'all get so fed up. Sure wish I could figure out a plan for y'all to get back at them. Hey, maybe take your mom & dad away for a few weeks, or would they then just find someone else to dump their kids on???

I would think that if you were trying to find yourself the first place you would look would be on a barstool!

::insert rimshot here::

That's for getting that "song" stuck in my head for the rest of the day! ;)

Hey, Huggabaloo! Come here--:duck:
::::Bichon Barb cups her hand and whacks him upside the head::::

:)

I'm NOT going back to those quizes. It was okay when my "real" nationality came up as Italian. (Actually, I knew it would. When I was a kid, I wanted to be Italian like 90 percent of my friends were. I wanted to tan well. I wanted lots of cousins who all lived in a one mile radius. I wanted to eat not only turkey on Thanksgiving, but also meatballs, calamari and lasagna.)

But...I took the celebrity match up quiz, and here's what I got:
Celebrity match: James Woods
Color: Black

Black represents curiosity and stubbornness. Because you possess these traits, your celebrity match is actor James Woods. Known for playing the villain/antagonist in most of his films, his wisecracking, borderline-psychopathic behavior intrigues your inquisitive nature. But beware: Psychosis may be fun at first, but schemes, outbursts and violence are actually no walk in the park. However, your obstinate character will no doubt lead you to take that walk. Just remember to pack the mace.

Ummmm, yeah...sure. That's me.

Deadheadbelle, LOL about Nancypants. I think every family has at least one of those SIL's.

Gosh, I hope you guys realize I was kidding. I mean, everyone knows Barb doesn't drink at bars...she drinks at home!

::insert another rimshot here::

Thank you! I'll be here all week! Don't forget to tip your waitresses!

Sorry...don't you see what that "Hey Ya" does to me??? It makes me sarcastic...er. ::yes:: Just funnin' with ya Barb. Love ya, mean it! :teeth:

Why is that George Thorogood song going through my head?

ARTIST: George Thorogood and the Destroyers
TITLE: I Drink Alone
Lyrics

I drink alone, yeah with nobody else

{Refrain}
I drink alone, yeah with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone
I prefer to be by myself

Now, every morning just before breakfast
I don't want no coffee or tea
Just me and my good buddy Wiser
That's all I ever need

'Cause I drink alone, yeah with nobody else...

Yeah, the other night I lay sleepin'
And I woke from a terrible dream
So I called up my pal Jack Daniels
And his partner Jimmy Beam

And we drank alone, yeah with nobody else

Yeah, the other day I got invited to a party
But I stayed home instead
Just me and my pal Johnny Walker
And his brothers, Black and Red

And we drank alone, yeah...

Yeah, my whole family done give up on me
And it makes me feel oh so bad
The only one who'll hang out with me
Is my dear Old Granddad

And we drink alone, yeah...

Yeah, you know when I drink alone
I prefer to be by myself
I drink alone

:teeth:

Now there is a blast from the past. George Thorogood and the Destroyers. :teeth:

How about this. This is a line from a song. Name that song:

I said "I know. Everybody funny. Now you funny too."

I've gotta go enter some commission checks. Be back in a few. :wave2:

OK, once I get the kids in their rooms for rest time I am going to take that personality test.

I did one of those celebrity match tests once & my ideal celebrity match was not Brad Pitt, not Russell Crowe, not Benicio del Toro...no, it was Mike Myers. It is kind of funny because llebrekniT has always said that my DH reminds her of Mike Myers . Anyway, it was a little disappointing. Nothing against Mike Myers, I actually find him quite funny.

Hey HuggaBaloo, I have found myself on a barstool a couple of times in my day! You got a problem with that? Huh, do ya? Well, do ya???

Ok, here is me...

The Sunset

Always searching for a fleeting image of a true experience, the Sunset personality is living in the world as it exists, but also in a perpetual quest to find the new, the exciting, the cusp of a changing day.
Emotionally volatile, this personality is known for sudden changes of opinion, of appreciation, and behavior. Following rules and established methods is difficult for this type of personality and the difficulties of higher education are usually quite daunting. Experience is the watchword for the Sunset. Knowledge is best gained through an intimate association with the matter at hand. Because of this, these personalities make excellent musicians or athletes.

Welp, some of this is right. However, I have no musical ability (but I sure do like music) and I was Cheerleading captain back in high school, so I guess I was a rather good athlete in my day (yes, cheerleaders are athletes in case you were wondering :D ).

I hope you saved a bar stool for me. I'm ready to head over to P.I. now, although I think my sister wants to check out Philharmagic after lunch.

Hey, where are we going for lunch anyway?

Nope...so long as I'm invited to sit next to ya! :teeth:

Nephosaurus, I don't believe you're "of age" yet. Wait, how many human years does one dragon year equal???

llebrekniT & Deadheadbelle, Please don't get my DW started on my family...one question about Don and Nancy...Do your parents like the time that they spend with the 3 hellions?

I think I am up for the philhamagic, How about getting dressed up for dinner...anyone for Victoria and Alberts?

:bounce:

Sure...just let me change into my nice clothes...you know, jeans and a clean t-shirt! :)

Lunch at Crystal Palace so we can "play" with Pooh and Tigger too??

Hmm No response?? Okay I'll go back to my barstool and sit quitely waiting to go on Splash Mountain and then Big thunder and some Country Bears..

Dole Whip anyone???

and I'm feeling better now. A full tummy and lots of fun rides with NO lines. Worked like a charm.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_12_2.gif' border=0></a>

RRBB I think your mind works a little like mine. I'm always looking for a way to get back at 'em or even better, block their attempts at abusing my MIL. When my MIL started planning the birthday dinner I told Deadheadbelle we need to make sure MIL has plans for the next day or they'll end up dumping those brats with her for the night. It just drives me crazy.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_204.gif' border=0></a> You'd think after 6 years I'd be use to it. But it needles me, gets under my skin, rattles me to my very soul. Add to that the fact that I'm very co-dependent (I think that's the right word, it's when you have to meddle in other people's probs and make them your own). My poor MIL, she doesn't even like those kids very much. Of course she loves them, they're her grandkids. But like them, it's hard to do that. They're freakin' nuts! Little demons.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/347.gif' border=0></a> Ages 6, 4 and 2, but they all act like a 2 year old. My head hurts all ready.

Enough of that. I want to find out who my celebrity match is. I can't remember who I got last time I took one.

A certain someone who's been in here taking pot-shots at UK needs to refer to the record books. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/20_3_104.gif' border=0></a> I do believe when the Cats play the Cards, the Cats usually come up with a big "W".<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_4_106.gif' border=0></a> I do hope that "Pitoner" is going to be OK. I still like him even though he's a yellow-bellied traitor. And, he's still cute.

How about dinner at San Angel Inn? Anybody in the mood for some Mexican food?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_12_3.gif' border=0></a> I hear they have great margaritas.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_13_2.gif' border=0></a>

Now that Ella bug is night-night I'm going to back to work for a while. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_4_101.gif' border=0></a>
