Can't hurt to ask. We always have a 12 noon limo pickup, so we ask for a noon checkout time and have always been granted it. I guess since it is only one hour later than normal check out it hasn't been a problem.

...and you also could ask them to store your luggage while your at the parks. We like to go ahead and get our stuff out of the room and head to the parks... then come back and get our luggage out of storage and then get on our way.

I got it! My 'Westin White Tea' candle CAME TODAY!!! I lit it... and it took me back to the Swan!!! MMMM the smell of that lobby is my FAVORITE. DH brought up a good point- he said that the smell was 'missing something', and then he figured it out- the chlorine smell of the fountains!! That's the other piece of the sensory puzzle!! Well, I'm not going to go around sniffing chlorine, so I'll settle with this!!!

What is the S/D procedure for delaying a check out for 1-2 hours? Our flight is later in the afternoon which means limo pick up after lunch. I'm thinking we might get in a couple more park hours that morning if we can check out around 12:30. Any ideas?

When we were there last month,we were told that even though check-out is 11 a.m., they always allow until noon for you to actually get out.

Ahhh less than two weeks until our stay at the Dolphin! It's going to be fun as the trip includes to friends of mine among others. I'm excited to show them not only what Walt Disney World has to offer but also the Dolphin (and Swan!) as I have been hyping up the resort a great deal. I hope the Executive Suite turns out to be a good choice, the floorplan looks awesome and should be just the right amount of room.

Thanks to everyone who weighed in on my late check out question. I figure one hour isn't going to be a big deal - but you never know!

Has anyone made ADRs using the online system? I put my dates in my profile. I'm hoping it's going to come up (when I log in tomorrow) that I can make my 90+10. Is that correct?

Unfortunately, S/D guests are ineligible for the "+10" with regards to ADRs. You'll only be able to make dining reservations for the first day of your vacation tomorrow.

I called back every day for five days and was still able to get everything I wanted - except for Le Cellier - but I kept checking on line eventually found a Le Cellier opening that worked for me, so it's all good.

and if you do not get what you need, book a back-up..and ask Concierge to help you out once you arrive...they can work wonders!

It's official, we booked a villa at BLT for November. While I'm MEGA excited, I feel like a traitor - no Dolphin this year! If we have a Bay Lake view, I will be able to see the gorgeous teal & peach resort off in the distance from the balcony - I hope I don't get "homesick!"

Several people have posted that the fridges were installed back in June.

We were there June 20th and they weren't in every room yet. We were on one of the top floors (19th).

Quick questions concerning parking......
1. If you are staying at the Swan or Dolphin, you pay a daily parking rate correct?
2.Also, do you have to pay to drive to the parks and park there? (MK, DHS etc..)
3. Can someone staying and paying to park at Swan/Dolphin visit friends staying at another Disney hotel (the GF in this case) and park there free of charge?
