Thank you! I just love getting this information now rather than wasting time there when I could be out having my vacation!!! You people rock!!!!
One more question: How late are the pools open at night??
Ok, I lied - another question.
Would becoming an SPG member now help me this weekend, or not?
Thanks once again! I joined and have my member number. I'll see if I can't add it to the reservation.
As for the pool - I can't imagine getting back to the hotel before 9 pm - what are they thinking???? LOL!
Well, we'll either swim at risk or not at all, because I'm not wasting park time swimming in a hotel pool.![]()

Dan - those photos are lovely!!! Especially of the waterfall!
Great photo of the Grotto Pool - although I still haven't used any of the pools at the S/D. Maybe if I spent a week there when it's hotter than Hades, as you do, I might be tempted!![]()

Oh, Nancy, believe me, you WOULD.
DD even jumped in one night around 9pm as we were returning from dinner - she was just SO HOT!

When I was a kid, the most important thing about choosing a motel when on a family vacation was that it had a pool! I'm not anti-pool, just anti being seen in a swimsuit!
I planned a WDW trip for the last week of June, and I had a reservation at the Swan. I've been to WDW the past few years at that time, but this year the locals were complaining more than usual about the heat! I booked a December trip about 2 weeks before I was supposed to fly down, so I decided to cancel the June trip and save my money for the holiday season trip - which is one of my favorite times to visit.
Oh thanks so much for the info and pics! Yes, the pool looks amazing but unless they are going to let us swim after 9 we won't get to use it since we only have 3 full days at Disney. If we could be there a week, we'd have time to take off.
We will be staying at the Swan Nov. 21 - 28 (Thanksgiving is the 26th). Will the Swan be decorated for Christmas by then. Do they go all out like the Disney resorts do at Christmas?
