HuggaBaloo, did FMLA and the days are over. I feel the grim reaper at my doorstep! HR and WC called my director to tell her that my FTE can officially be replaced. She reassured me that currently, she has no need to do that and she won't (thank goodness she is a compassionate person!). WC told me at 12 months, I will be terminated and loose all my seniority that I have obtained (like 19 years!!!!!!). [COLOR=663366]AZKathy[/COLOR], I am so sad for you...Let me get this straight, if you recover enough to go back to work, then you can get you old job back (as long as it doesn't take more than 12 months)? How much of that time is gone? and if this test you have coming up next week helps you, and you get better quickly, maybe it was just a way the HR Dept has of pushing you. If the test helps you, and you can't get your job back...well didn't Workman's comp originally refuse to give you this test?

Of course starting a lawsuit is the best way never to get hired again...people talk...It just seems wrong what they are doing to you...

I stopped by Blockbuster on the way home from dinner and while I was waiting in the check-out line......low and behold, I saw the WONKA BAR display.........and knowing how much certain special DRAGON friends of mine love them, I decided to try one for myself......... YUMMY!!!!!

And I bought Wonka Bars for everyone!!!!

I'll keep thinking good, positive thoughts for you, both your health and your job, or lack thereof. There's something better out there for you. Keep your chin up, I know it's hard to do that.

The boys went to see a late movie so I'm supposed to be having a little slumber party with Holly in my room. Watching Lion King 1-1/2, again. We have mini marshmallows instead of popcorn or chips. Can't take the crumbs in the sheets.

I had never had/heard of On the Border until I ate there last week on my trip to Texas...That was some really good food!

As for why we have to move...When the thread gets around 150 pages, we have to start a new thread, because it slows down the server too much trying to load the whole thread up. So, every once in a while (more often nowadays), we have to make a new htread and move on.

Oh, BTW guys...Is the new place gonna have a hot tub, too? Gotta have that hot tub!

Ok...It's been all over the TV this evening...

Has anyone seen/planning on seeing "The Passion"?

I'm still on the fence about it, because I cannot handle violence/gore and have a hard time watching it and understand that the film is very very graphic in it's portrail.

I'm certainly not trying to start a debate, just curious about thoughts on the film...
