Oh I almost forgot, RRBB, THANK YOU for the buttons on the color wheel.
Do you like them? Are they easy enough to use? I'd love to figure out how to have it do the "copy" part also, but at the moment that's beyond me.

Okay Kismetdreams, looks like you're now the official keeper of the TAGLIARCHY Hot Tub. Congratulations!

Don't worry. I really was laughing

over that comment. BTW, I'm actually quite shocked that he offered his banana to someone besides me, and a guy no less.

I have a question that I thought you guys could help with. On Friday at work we are having a book day and the kids and staff have to come in dressed as a book character. What do you think I should go as? We usually have a theme for the staff all related to one book. There are 3 teachers in my team and 3 in the other team. Any ideas? Last time we did the Wizard of Oz and I was the wicked witch of the west. The time before I was cinderella.

Danauk If you're not all tired of Harry Potter by now, you could go as Professor McGonagall (spelling?) or are your students too young for that?

Danauk,How about... Alice in wonderland.....

How about cat in the hat...
or Varuca from Willey Wonka....you could act all spoiled like...of course the book has a different way of dealing with her than the movie...

What about Lucy from the Chronicles of Narnia?

Or even somebody out of a Wrinkle in Time...

I always like Thorby's story from citizen of the Galaxy, but that is a bit old for your young-ons. Of Course My Favorite Heinlin book is Fifth Column...I digress...

I haven't clapped for the Tag Fairy in a while, so.....

<font size=8 color=33FF33>THE OSCARS ARE TODAY!!!!!</font>

:hyper:

unfortunately i dont think johnny will win....URANUS!

<font color=turquoise>danauk</font> you could always go as Frodo or gollum from lord of the rings:teeth:

I agree withohanafamily about Chronicles of Narnia, maybe you could go as the White Witch.....she gives me the chills.....brrrrrrrrr

At Halloween, the librarian at DS9's school came as Amelia Bedelia and carried around a lemon pie....she was sooo cute!

Snow White is another thought, but I don't know if the other teachers would want to dress as dwarves :teeth:

Woohoo! I'm so excited! The official keeper of the hot tub! :)

Thanks, guys! I really feel at home, now!

It's interesting to me to see everyones point of views regarding "The Passion" and I thank everyone who answered. :) I am still on the fence about it, I guess I may wait until Brian comes home (12 days!) and wecan maybe go together.

Deadheadbelle, I do have a digital camera, (we actually have like 3!), but we are also having professional photos and video, so I will make sure you all get to see! :) I'll prolly end up having to buy a domain and such and posting it all there, as I am certain there will be lots more then geocities will let me have room for...

Hope everyone is having a good day...I just got my puppy back from the kennel and now he needs a walk and then I am heading out to Micheal's to look for wedding centerpiece stuff...Wish me luck! :)

Depplyinluv We've been wondering where you were....thought you were kidnapped by pirates...

I LOVE the Oscars too and am soooo excited! AOL had 10 things to look for at this years Oscars........I'll have to find it and paste for you........

DH is in the hospital. :(

Okay, now that I've gotten your attention, I'll make a long story short (yeah right). ;)

We went skiing yesterday morning. Beautiful day! Sunny, low 40's. It was around 4:00 p.m. and I just finished my last run with Eric when I saw Hunter. Hunter says "Dad fell on the terrain park. They bringing him down on a sled." I asked Hunter if daddy was talking. "No". (not good)

Well, then witnesses started coming over to me and telling me what happened. He was attempting a 360 -- which ended up being a one 180, and instead of landing on his skis, he landed on his back. A 360 is when you go off a jump and turn (twist) 360 degrees. He was unconscious for about 1.5 minutes. When they got him down, he was talking and complaining of back pain. So they took him to the hospital in an ambulance.

I took the kids to the neighbors and went to the hospital. They took x-rays, but no fractures. Although he had no headache, etc., they did a CT scan. We were all surprised to find out that he has a 2 mm subdural(?) hematoma. If it were an older person it would be no big deal, but because there isn't much space between the brain and the skull on younger people, it can be a problem. So they kept him overnight in the ICU in case they need to drill a hole and relieve pressure. (Ewwww.)

So I went back this morning with his clothes thinking he'd be going home today, but they want to keep him one more night just to be sure. The good news is I can watch the awards tonight without him pouting and complaining. (he-he)

BTW, did I mention that the neurosurgeon looks just like Frodo? He's about the same size too. :teeth: I call him Doogie Howser.

Bichon Barb, How scary! Sounds like your DH is a weekend warrior. :teeth: . Lots of prayers & PD.

Thanks Deadheadbelle. He wanted a beer last night, but they wouldn't let him have one. So he had some morphine instead. :p

I was skimming the last few pages quickly, and it sounds like you guys are good to go in October. :Pinkbounc I've never stayed at the Poly or WL, and, quite frankly, I don't know which I'd choose. They both sound great.

Bichon Barb So sorry about your hubby's accident :( and hope they let him go home tomorrow! Please keep us informed!!!

Here's more pixie dust coming your way...............

Bichon Barb, OH NO, it seems like the Skis weren't such a good idea... hey is it just me or do we have a lot of back patients this week? Pixie Dust to you all.....

Here, have a chocolate Milkshake too.. with Wonka Bar Add-Ins....

Can I come over, give him lots of hugs, maybe a sponge bath? I can really help with the banana and maybe the uranus, as well. I know some physical therapy to get everything working. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_2_2.gif' border=0></a> Ohhhhhhhh NURSE! Seriously, hope he is ok.

By the way Bichon Barb, I know your mind is on a lot right now, but could you please explain the 360 again. I don't think we got it. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_102.gif' border=0></a>

Kismetdreams congrats on the hot tub! I also am very excited about your wedding, a taglikin gets married. How cool is that? When is it?

RRBB the web page is very easy to use, many thanks and excellent work on the linking ohanafamily. As for the Passion, it's worth a see, IMO, but just as every religion out there, we all understand and are taught the bible differently. As long as you are true to yourself (and RRBB of course) just view it as a movie, not real unless you want to believe it is.

Deadheadbelle pick the right place or you will never live it down, expecially with that comment about llebrekniT choosing your brother and the inability of his laundry.

cadburysmom nice work on the banana comment. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_26.gif' border=0></a> RickinNYC maybe ohanafamily will offer one from his bunch.

Haven't posted a lot as I am already too chatty being high on the list, maybe there is hope for Cheeringmom to take the lead, or someone else. If Cheeringmom leaves McDonald's again for breakfast, she is gonna sit in the corner. I much prefer her homemade stuff.

Lewski709, If you don't want the honor af starting the new thread, I will be glad to. But I really think the honor is yours...

Hi everyone, and as your "Nurseosaurus", I am giving you all Chicken soup and Pixie Dust. I want everyone to feel better.

I sure hope Johnny wins tonight, but I won't tell him to break a leg...

Also, Morphene and Alcohol don't mix.

Lewski709, could you open the new home? It is getting really cramped.
