If you made a request before it's already in their computer. So my advice is when you check-in ask them about it to if they are able to make it happen.

WOW - great DH! Looks like we will be there at the same time as you- we are planning to be at the resort in the afternoon so great to know about the activities there - thanks - I can't PM yet (not enough posts) but keep an eye open for a chubby mom chasing a busy DD and that's probably us - LOL

I have a question for those of you who have stayed in the Hawaii building -- how crazy/busy does it get in the lounge? Is it easy or hard to grab a bite and find a table, or do you have to plan to be there at a certain time?

We are going during peak season next year, and I want to know if the lounge will be useful for us or just another place where it's too crowded and noisy (like the pools & the parks ).

We would choose a quieter time to visit, but we cant because of school.

Last December my family and I stayed in a Club Level Lagoon View, so obviously we were in the Hawaii Longhouse. Anyway when we would go to the lounge for breakfast or at 5:00 PM for the hors d'ouvres we never had any problems getting a table since we would be there early enough. Plus the lounge on the 2nd floor is very big and has a lot of tables, so you should have nothing to worry about.

I've stayed in the Hawaii building on 5 different trips; early May, late October, early July, late July, and end of August. We've never had a problem finding a place to sit to have a bite of food, and it's *never* been what I'd call crowded or noisy there. I listed the times of year that we've been there for reference purposes. When exactly are you going??

In the morning we always like to take our pineapple bread, fruit, juice, and coffee back to our room so we can enjoy the balcony before heading out to the parks. But in the evenings we've always been able to find a table to sit at while we enjoy the food offerings and a glass of wine.

The last time we were at WDW that week it was incredibly busy. The pool at the YC was so full we couldn't even find an area to put our towels down -- we finally draped them on a bush! Seriously -- and they were checking room ID's on entry, too! The pools at the GF didn't feel so full when we moved there, though.

We would probably want to grab breakfast in the lounge each day, then drop in at different times each day for a snack or a bite to eat. I dont want to have to be there right when they open, or it will ruin the convenience factor of the lounge for us.

We've never stayed at the Poly, so are a bit worried, as the pool always seems crowded when we have visited. More worried about the lounge, though. I wasn't counting on eating on a balcony, since I've read that only the 3rd floor rooms have them and I cant get a guaranteed one.

I've never been there during easter week but I know that's a very busy time of year for all of WDW. If you don't get (or want) the third floor, the first floor rooms have nice patios with chairs which also make a nice place to sit in the morning. That's a personal preference thing though; we enjoy taking our time getting out to the parks in the mornings, I know that many people want to get up and out as fast as they can.

The lounge is accessible 24 hours a day; when the CMs don't have food or snack out the fridge still has cans of soda, and usually whole fruit is available as well.

WOW -- 99 per night!! I'm sure the kids' arrival and departure times would be staggered, but I can't imagine 40 kids in the club at one time, let alone double that! I guess we were really lucky that the times our son was there they had maybe a dozen kids or so. I don't think he'd have enjoyed himself as much if there was a crowd, LOL!!

I agree. 99 children would be the exception to the rule! They would just call in a lot more CMs if they were booked so full. And yes, the drop-off times are staggered

Hi mmmears Easter week will undoubtedly be very busy but in this economy you never know... We were just there, as you know, and had absolutely NO problems finding a seat in the lounge at any time. The lounge was frequently busy but never in a bad way. It was great there - friendly guests and friendly CMs. You will LOVE Poly LV CL. Having the lounge down the hall is SO convenient.

That YC experience sounds horrible! I don't see this happening at the Poly but it's possible... You will have 2 pools, though, and the gorgeous beach. The lounge will only be accessible by people with club level room keys, so you should have no problems. The staff in Hawaii is great too. I hope you give Poly LV CL a try Request 3d floor. You will LOVE it and won't have to rely on your balcony, although it would be a nice spot

Hi everyone. I just read through most of your posts. We are staying at the Poly Thanksgiving 2009. I am thinking of Fiji or Samoa to stay in. What does everyone think? This resort is absolutely beautiful. It will take me a year to pay it off- ha!!
