In order to get to Epcot from WL, you can do one of two things.
Either take the direct to Epcot bus, or take the bus to the TTC,then transfer over to the Epcot monorail.(If you really want to ride the monorail)

You cannot get to Epcot from MK via monorail, as it is on a diferent monorail line.

Thanks SO MUCH, Lou-Ann and julybride !!!!
I'll ask Beth ( our TA , she is very helpful ! ) to deal with CRO !::yes::

ONE MORE QUESTION :
I DO need a good EXPERT ( and not-so-expert too) advise !!

Every day I change my mind , it looks like ALL rooms are great ... DH says I love them all !!!!

:scratchin WHAT SHOULD I ASK FOR ??????

We are in our 50 ies , we use to wake up early - to be there when the park (we want to visit in the morning )opens ... maybe we would like to have breakfast on our balcony ( if any ).

We usually go back to our resort for a nap ... then we head back to the parks till closure time .

DH doesn't like "ground floor" - nor he is a "pool lover".

Myself ... I just ADORE WDW and will be HAPPY anywhere!!

We are booked on woods view.

What do you suggest ? WHAT "VERBAGE" should we use ?

:hyper2:

Oh ... and we'll be celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and my birthday ( should I mention that on our request ?)

:wave2: THANKS sooooo much for your patience !!! :wave2:

IN 24 days I'll PAT HUMPHREY's nose !!!!

First I need to know if you are smokers???

If "not" and you aren't pool lovers AND want a nice quiet room, I would recommend 5th or 6th floor Villas Courtyard view. This would give you a nice high up room and a nice view of the quiet pool at WL. Search my gallery and you should see some pictures of it. If you have problems locatiing one I will point it out to you.

(Edit: Since signatures are off for a few days, here is a direct link to a villas courtyard view. http://tinyurl.com/3dewy . This is a room we stayed in too!)

As for the anniversary, CONGRATS!!! and Yes I would mention something. They have a way of making moments magical at Disney. :)

Let us know if we can help further!

Fred

Thank you Majestic!

I hope everyone here on one of my favorite threads to read had a fantastic 4th of July!

We'll be careful around those beds on midnight bathroom runs! Thanks so much for that link to show me how to add color, etc. A little overwhelming at first, but I'll get it!

We requested a N/S room overlooking the lobby, but from the photos we have seen we will be happy anywhere I am sure!
Won't be long now. Just a few more days! We are counting the minutes until we can pat Humphries' nose!

The bus stop looks super close. However, it looks like a haul to get to the boat dock from the villas. How much time should I plan just to get to the boat dock? Do I go through the lodge or walk the path by the pool?

Hope all the WL Vets are doing well. Just thought I would pop in and answer a question.

The walk to the boat dock from the Villas is not as bad as it seems from the map. It is only about a 5 minute walk when taking the pathway by the quite pool.

THANK YOU sooooo much, Majestic !!!!!

That collection of pictures is awesome !!! We've already viewed your gallery ... BUt now it turned out to be sooooo useful in helping me to choose a room !
THANK you very much !!!!!

I have my heart set on room n. 5136 : is that one you had in mind ?

Should I just ask for " a room on 5th or 6th floor, Villas courtyard view" ? ( I love 5032 and 5138 as well !!!!).

Thanks also for offering " FURTHER HELP": I'm sure I'll have many more questions ... before we leave home ... to go to Humphrey's !!!

I'll be sure to pat his nose , saying : "Fred sends you a BIG hug "!!

does anyone know if the rooms on the south side courtyard can view the Contemporary? It looks like maybe you'd be able to see wishes and EWP? I might just be hoping? The only picture on the balconies view link from that side is 4065? I'll be on the 7th floor and would like to try for that side if it is possible to see more from there. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Jonna

BETSY< DMB for me tommorrow, the 7th!! can't wait!!

Yeah there are others there as well. I personally like to get a room on the highest floor possible so in your case I would ask for 6th floor Villas Courtyard.

Glad I was able to help.

EVERYONE ELSE: If you haven't already done so, send me your balcony views from your recent trip! Please check to see that your room number isn't already listed in my gallery so we can avoid duplicates. :)

Wait till you all see the room search we are working on. :)

We had a great room on the 5th floor with a view of the villa's pool. I don't remember the number, but our picture is on Fred's site. I'd look, but since the siggy's are down, I don't remember his link. Our room was very close to the elevators and very quiet.

It was a very pretty view.

It's going to be tough if not impossible to get a view of CR from that side of the resort. You might be able to see it if you are at the far end of the south wing but I can't say for sure as I have not had a room down that far.

It also depends on wether you have a Main Pool Courtyard view or a Villas Pool Courtyard view. Do you know which one?

Actually, you mention you will be on the concierge floor so it doesn't go that far back. I would have to say you won't see Wishes or the CR but you should be able to see the EWP if you have a Main Pool Courtyard view.

If you want a view of wishes I would recommend that you ask for a room on the north side of the resort (Woods view or ask for a Castle View...). Again, there are some listed in my wilderness lodge photo gallery.

Hope this helps.

Wow that was quick. Your ALRIGHT!!!!! I actually posted wrong. The view that I was refering to was of the balcony to room 4165. It almost looks like if you were down a few rooms you might be able to see (wishes). I just never walked down to that side of the resort, so I don't know. I have just had wood view. Thanks again.

Jonna

Fred, you're a mind-reader!

I was just going to ask for you to post the link to your sight. We leave very soon (5 days, give or take) and DS and I need a fix of WL...

You did good. ::yes::

Just back yesterday from the Pepsi 400 @ Daytona, we had a great trip and the races where enjoyable (restrictor plate racing) Saturday we had a two hour rain delay but once the race started very few cautions...Great Fireworks followed but like Betsy said didn't compare to WISHES.

To everyone leaving soon for WDW have a great trip and be sure to post your reports when you return.

CAUTION: Last Friday there where over 700 cloud to ground lightning strikes in one hour in the Orlando area. There was at lest one death and several injuries. In the Daytona area Saturday a few hours before scheduled start time of the race, three people took a indirect lightning hit but all recovered. Remember please take cover...don't run though open areas, it doesn't have to be raining for the lightning to strike.

Beckie, nice to have you back on the boards !!!

I'm sure you had a great time !!

 About your " CAUTION " note : what do you mean ? I know it is not safe to walk in open spaces ...

BUT ... when you are driving ?
Maybe the first "stop " area is far away ...

DH and I will drive from Miami to Orlando on July 31...
I'm quite scared now ...

And when we are at WDW parks ? What do you suggest ?

TIA !!!
