Most people request the inner courtyard rooms. So, if you add "outer" to your request, I don't think you will have a problem getting it.

you're welcome!

EWP is the electric water parade. It goes by each of the MK water resorts every night. It passes WL around 9-9:35 pm. It's pretty. Last's maybe 5-10 minutes.

Hi guys! Love the new place! Hope it's only filled with Good Wishes and Pixie Dust!

We're trying to get a good deal for October again! We were so spoiled at WL, that we don't want to do anything but! So far, we just can't get the money together...

A great place to see the electric water parade is on the balcony of the 5th floor at WL. You hear the music just perfect and you get a nice seat. The other place is right on the beach. Given the time of the year, there may be too many mosquitoes.

You can also watch it from the dock where the boats leave.

What is and what time is the Electrical Water Pageant?
The Electrical Water Pageant is a light and music barge parade nightly at 9:35p.m. on Bay Lake. (Note: May be canceled due to inclement weather.) Can be seen from the beach, and different locations though out the Lodge..

DH's brother is recovering (had been in accident and we thought we'd have to postpone) so we are headin' to the Lodge! I am going to become a WL vet!

We are going to rub Hump's nose, sit drinking cocoa by the fireplace, eat at Whispering & AP . . .

any other suggestions?

We always enjoy getting a list of Hidden Mickeys at Guest services.
Renting Watermouse for fun out on Bay Lake, and Bikes then taking the trails over to Ft. Wilderness to check out the stables and petting zoo for the little ones.

Too funny actually I didn't read the Weather Report today because I had to go to work this a.m. just goes to show great minds think alike.

I also think a great relaxing thing to do is walk over to the Villas to the Iron Spike Room and play a game or two of checkers.

They have checkers there!? My DS5 LOVES playing checkers. DH and he were sitting at that little table in MK playing checkers while I went into Exposition Hall to pick up our pictures. Everyone walking by would stop and just look at them. Not sure if they thought they were an act or just thought they were crazy for playing checkers while they were in Disney World....

For the record, I skip the weather right now (since I'm not going down anytime soon), but I always look for the Tip for Today!!

Yep, checkers, chess, big cozy rocking chairs, and large beautiful fireplace. (modle train engines & some train cars they are stationary) I have taught four of my nephews how to play while we where staying at the Lodge. We usually go down before the EWP and play until time for the show or when they run out of quarters at the game room.
