I have a strange request. Does anyone know how many CM's total work at WL on an average in all of the areas?

That is so sweet, I have been trying to come up with a number for the CM's that work at Wilderness Lodge but really have no clue it could be close to two hundred....everyone from grounds keeper, lifegaurds, Ranger Stan...ect...ect, the list just kept getting larger and larger...So just do what you can for as many as you come in contact with...But you have to let use know what you decide..:p

Many blessings for you and your family.

Thanks for your estimate Magic! You mentioned other areas of the resort that had not even crossed my mind. Hopefully between now and December I will have something solid planned.

Congratulations on the birth of your new princess!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Hi all!! I've been lurking around the WL FAQ thread for a few days now and I'm only up to page 45.(;))..but, hope to finish this thread by my trip in December...LOL!

We were able to book a "Junior Suite" at WL for one night (12/8). (Before we move over to BWV for 4 more nights-friends DVC)
On one of the 1st couple of pages of this thread, someone posted the Jr.Suites being at the end of the halls. Are all of them there? Are they all on one floor or scattered about the resort? Any of them on the 7th floor? Do they all face the lake?
And any other info you have about them would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance....I will check here when I get back from work today, you all are a "wealth" of information! Thank-you!

p.s Congrats on your new princess: Fred!

Welcome to the WL FAQ thread...I may have been the one that posted the information about most the Jr. Suites being located at the ends of each North and South Wings..I have stayed in the Jr suits several times (before I became a DVC member) and each time I received a room located at the end of the South Wing facing Bay Lake with wonderful viewing of the EWP. But the offical view is Woods View.

There are no Jr. Suites located on the 7th floor and I was told by Mousekeeping that there where no Jr. Suites on the 6th floor, I know for a fact there are none in the North Wing 6th floor as I walked to the end of the sixth floor checking room #'s. This is due to the architectural design of the Lodge. I have been told that there are a few Jr.Suites about half way down the North and South wings with a inner courtyard view but have never seen or stayed in them so.:confused3 There are not many of the suites and those are the only ones I am awear of each floor would only have two if located at the end of the wing. This photo from Deb's web site shows the Jr. Suites on the Noth Wing from outside. Starting from the stone work on the first floor up to the 5th floor.

Hope this information helps a little.

:wave2: MAGICinMYHEART----Thanks so much for the info....looks like even with a "Woods View" you'll still have a Nice view!

You said; From the stone work on the 1st floor up to the 5th floor...do you mean all of those are Jr.Suites? or just the ones with the green balcony on the 5th floor??

At 500 sq. feet, it looks a little smaller than a 1-bedroom Villa? Am I right? But still looks like plenty of room to relax! (Yes that DVC does spoil you!! )
Looking forward to our 1st trip to WL...we've heard it is awesome during the holidays...we'll be doing the sleigh ride after our delicous dinner at Artist Point!!(Yummy! ::yes:: )
If anyone has any other info about the suites, bed size etc....please feel free to let me know! ;)
edited to add a question to Magicinmyheart! Thanks!

Hi everyone !

Well, we are home from the Wilderness Lodge, and one of the best vacations we have ever had!I have a ton of pictures, and many stories of magical moments that were bestowed upon my family.
I will try and get a complete trip report posted later on in the week, but I wanted to share some of the Lodge pictures that we took here on this thread.

We were assigned to room # 4051, which was a non-smoking, courtyard view, bunkbed room.It was located in the north wing, A section.
I never did take any inside room shots, but I do have this one of dh and I . You can kind of peek behind us to see a bit of the room :

Here are a few balcony views.

And one of my favorite things.....
These are the WL rabbits! While sitting around the pool, these precious little bunnies will hop up within a few feet of you! I loved it!!

I am so very pleased with the WL. I can honestly say that we will probably never stay anywhere else again!! We had a look at several of theother Deluxe resorts during this trip, and none of them even compared to the WL !! :sad2:
If you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them.

Chris
