We received our pre-approval for China Visas!!!

I just got the email from CIBt that our applications were all approved! I am SO thankful! I just dropped the passports off at Fedex to send to our agent and we should have them back with Visas attached next week!

I have a friend doing the China ABD in May. She just sent off her stuff to CIBT a little over a week ago. How long did it take from submittal to getting your pre-approval?

Our agent took our applications in last Wednesday and we got the approval yesterday, so 7 business days.

CIBt is taking our passports to the Embassy tomorrow and they said we should have the Visas by Thursday!

That is great news, getting that approval step done must feel like a huge relief. The visa process for China can be stressful with all the paperwork and waiting, so it is nice when everything finally comes together. Hope the passports come back quickly and you can start focusing on the trip itself.
