QOTD: Are you doing anything new this year? And, if it is your first trip, do you have a "must do" at each park?
Hi me again... wow.. its taking all day to catch up. Been having health issues. Remember the heart palpitations I mentioned last week. Well, I saw a cardiologist yesterday and she hooked up up with a holter monitor and on Monday I am having a nuclear stress test and echo cardiogram. I am only 17 days out and there is so much to do.
I just got my son a ticket for the ME. He is arriving by car not plane at the airport to ride it though. He's in college in Florida, but doesn't have a car. He can get a ride to MCO. I almost completely forgot about mousekeeping. we only need a couple envelopes because mousekeeping doesn't come daily to DVC.
I got my disunplugged t-shirt in the mail. Yeah, just in time so I can bring it.
Yesterdays QOTD about Tours. None for us. My DH and DS did the Segway Tour of Ft. Wilderness in 2009 and LOVED it. They highly recommend it. DD8 wants to do behind the seeds, so as soon as she's old enough!
We are doing a few "new" things this trip. We're going to do American Idol at DHS. We're eating at Kona and Trails End, and then going to Chip & Dale's campfire sing-a-long. We're snacking at the new Werther's store.
Must-do's, which sometimes don't get done include Small World, Dumbo, Soarin', Test Track, Just read in Kathy Werling's blog that Pooh is closed for rehab... so that's out, but tea cups should be back up and running. Oh, and Kali River is a must-do for me but I skip it if its too cold. you will get soaked... but I LOVE that ride.
I'm not even checking my ADR's online. I have my confirmation numbers and that's what I need. I know the online system is screwy! I gotta go run and get changed, take pick up DD8 from school and head back to the cardiologist to turn in my holter monitor. I'm tired of it. And I hosted a jewelry party last night and had to be wearing it. One lead was right where necklaces hit. Made try-on a challenge.
Have fun for all those leaving now!!
