50 Days!!!

We leave in just 50 days!!!

Yesterday I finally got up the courage to attempt the Mickey tye dye shirts. I bought the shirts a month or so ago, but have been afraid to try them. But I did them and opened them today. They look great!!! I am so excited about them.

Love the Bathroom. I wanted to do our bathroom in Mickey but we have blue tile. So I went with Ariel instead (my poor DH.) I did do a hiddle Mickey wall though in my DD8 and DD11's room. The room is all pink walls except one, the large wall is purple with pink hidden Mickey's all over it. I love it!

53 days I finally was able to get sci-fi for lunch the day we are in HS instead of the original night i had booked it..now to just get yak for dinner the night we are at AK..Im so ready

Roommates and I this week are making a countdown "calendar" (it's rings made of construction paper) ourselves that will start at the 30 day mark. Lucky for us we have 3 milestones to help get past those 30 days - 2 birthdays (the guy in our group gets a NJ birthday and a WDW birthday) and Halloween...

And *just* realized all 3 of our birthdays are within the same 30 days

The Backyard Brawl is pretty much always on Black Friday. I think once or twice on that Saturday, but I can recall in college making sure I didn't go home for Thanksgiving b/c I was in the Pitt Band and had to be there for the Friday game. But nice that WVU has off the following week; I think Pitt still plays Cincy after y'all.

And I must confess, the football isn't just a men thing. One year on our anniversary I asked DH to make sure we picked a restaurant w/ a TV as Pitt was playing on national TV and I didn't want to miss the rare chance to see them down here in Louisiana.

I knew the game would be that week I just didn't think about it when I scheduled our trip. And we do have a game the following week but it's on the 4th and we'll be home on the 3rd so again, I'm not in trouble with the hubby. Serioulsy, we do nothing if there is a game on, unless I wnat to do it with me & the kids and I do that all week long (I homeschool our kids) so I don't usually.

Your Disney ideas sound great! Would love to see a pic of the hidden Mickey wall! And the shirts! I just got my order of Dharma dye and am gonna make them tomorrow. My 'trial' shirt was only OK... would like the heads to be more defined.

I am also extremely jealous of those of you who are in the 30's. We don't leave 'til Thanksgiving day, so I still have 57 days...

My daughter's 4th birthday is today so I finally got to pull out the countdown calendar! 38 days! My other 3 kids were amazed we are already so close. Although, I feel like it's been forever since January when I first began making our plans!
