until we are at the Yacht Club. I can't wait to see my grandsons' faces when they see where they are. It's a secret and I'm not sure how dd is going to tell them or when. This is our 4th Thanksgiving in WDW and the first for the boys. It will be here before we know it!

The "Back Yard Brawl" will be going on during our last day/drive home. DH is not very pleased about that. I told him I would hop on the phone with Bill Stewart right away and ask him to postpone it till we get back.

There was a game on the last time we were there, we spent our day in AK so he could be back in the hotel to watch the game that evening. It was so funny while in the parks we kept hearing people say 'go moutaineers' and they were all from here!! We ended up in line with one couple and the guy was like the game is tonight? really? What time? and making sure they didn't have an ADR somewhere so he could to the same thing men!!

I didn't check the schedule before planning this trip but I was happily surprised that they will play Black Friday and be off the next week so we won't have to schedule our vacation around a game this time, at least!

I have a pile of the boys matching shirts that I have bought, but I won't really pack until about a week before, and will finish up the night before.

I'm a turkey!! So glad that I found this before we left!! Nov. 13-22nd for us.
DH,DS,a cousin and myself. we will be at pop and yes I have some things packed in a rubbermaid ready to go.

Saturday before we leave is DS's birthday party. Our house & yard will become a Jedi Training Academy. Shhh, don't tell, Mickey is sending him one of the Jedi robes with Mickey ears!!!

Sunday clean up from the party.

Monday get DH to work & DS to school & finish packing by 2:30 so we can leave for my cousin's house to stay over. She is much closer to the airport.

Tuesday leave for the airport at 4:15 AM - yes, another one with a crazy early flight. Our plane leaves at 6:15am

Forgot to do the quote thing - but we too will be in pjs & lying down trying to convince ourselves that it is bedtime around 6pm

QOTD: We have an interesting travel schedule. Our WDW arrival day is the 27th, but we have to be packed by the 23rd. We are heading to my parents for Thanksgiving and leaving for WDW from there the day after, which gets us 4 hours closer and technically makes my countdown shorter!

I think we are the only West Virginians not concerned about the game. We're transplants. Although, we can jump into a Rich Rod debocle conversation with the best of them.

I was thinking of doing the bleach pen swirl Mickey head shirts. I don't know how that would work on a striped shirt but it could be cool. I was going to let everyone pick any color they want because my DH will only wear very bland colors (gray). The rest of us like a little more color. Are you doing shirts for each day?

I was thinking of having my mom make shirts with the Mickey ears made of the autism puzzle pieces (I am NOT AT ALL crafty). I think I am going to buy the whole family a shirt a week which I will just go ahead and pack...

QOTD- I will be packing until midnight the night before we leave and grabbing last minute items as DH loads the 2 sleepy boys in the truck at 4am. Than once we start unpacking I will realize what it was I forgot on the counter at home- LOL!!

Sometime the afternoon before we leave. I hope to have the car packed up & ready at a decent hour. We usually leave around 4am since it's a 13 hour drive however our WVU Mountaineers have a game the night before and hubby will need to get some sleep, I'm not sure what time the game is but I hope 7 or 8 pm. I may just have to get him in the passenger seat and take the first turn at driving so we can get out of here!

Don't worry, I'm sure Dave Wannstedt would be happy to take a forfeit from him instead! (Sorry, I went to Pitt, so I couldn't resist!)

The Backyard Brawl is pretty much always on Black Friday. I think once or twice on that Saturday, but I can recall in college making sure I didn't go home for Thanksgiving b/c I was in the Pitt Band and had to be there for the Friday game. But nice that WVU has off the following week; I think Pitt still plays Cincy after y'all.

And I must confess, the football isn't just a men thing. One year on our anniversary I asked DH to make sure we picked a restaurant w/ a TV as Pitt was playing on national TV and I didn't want to miss the rare chance to see them down here in Louisiana.

Just paid off our trip! Ta da. Whew.

Meanwhile...we have a wedding to go to on Oct. 16 so have to drag DH shopping for something to wear so he doesn't look like a slob. That wasn't very nice of me to say, but it's true. Also, he needs new sneakers this week so they'll be broken in for our trip.

Called the kennel that we're considering so that we can visit this week and make sure we like it. Then, make an appt. with the vet for the dog's shots.

Both of us need haircuts before the wedding but I don't want to do this too soon so we end up needing another one before the trip.

Have to remember to send flowers to my mom.

I've gotten a ton of stuff for our trip, just have to organize it all and cross off and add to my list.

Plus, my appointment for my annual gyno exam is this Thursday afternoon.

I need a nap. For about a month.
