We are 2 adults cruising for 4 nights on the Destiny in two weeks. We have Pearl status but due to booking late we were unable to acquire a cabana, Palo brunch, Echante dinner, or any tastings. What are the odds we will be able to get any of these items once aboard the ship. We usually book early so we have no experience with this. We even have late dining which we haven’t had in years🤣 Any insight would be appreciated.

Palo brunch might be tough. I was on a 4-night on the Destiny not too long ago and waited at Dining Changes to get on the brunch list. The very first person in line came out right after they opened saying there were no Palo brunch slots available (she got put on a waitlist). I stayed in line anyway and put my name on the waitlist, but we never got the call. We did the 5-night right after in concierge and even they couldn't get us Palo brunch.

Cabana chance is hit or miss-if you're at Lookout it's tougher as there's fewer cabanas. Castaway has more so it's very likely someone may drop one closer to sailing-keep an eye on the app.

You'll probably be able to get Enchante dinner onboard if not beforehand (someone may drop that closer to sailing too), and random slots open up for tastings all the time.

Good luck!

I was on the Destiny in December. I wanted to move my Palo dinner res to another night and they said there was no availability at all. I was shocked as this was had never been an issue on any other ship. Everyone at that desk was being told the same for brunch or dinner.

Have heard on podcasts and other message boards the Destiny is the ship of lines. Is this true? Do you have to wait in long lines for the lounges? If so is this true even in the evenings for cocktails?

Anything villains is going to have a line. I didn’t find anything else had a bad line really. Sometimes you had to get there pretty early to get to trivia, but this is no different than any other Wish class ship.

I hope in future they have an online system to sign up for villains experiences as I really struggled with the lines.

Cruella De vil was always at capacity. We never got in . Even on the first day where you can look in the rooms it had a drinking thing going on.

Funny the Haunted Mansion was busy like the other ships.

Dr Facillier was really busy and it only ran 15 minutes. Never got into that one, long lines that started early.

Palo Brunch: slim chance

Enchanted Dinner: decent chance

Cabana: luck of the draw

Tastings: you will almost certainly be able to get a good one, probably multiple good ones. We were on the Destiny in January and almost every tasting eventually had availability (people do tend to cancel those). We were even able to get into mixology.

Not true. The Destiny is no worse than any other DCL ship.
