Wow I have missed a lot!! Been on vacation in South Dakota for 10 days, than we celebrated our anniversary on the 2nd and then began 4th of July festivities.

We had to change our dates in Nov. to 24-30 to get better air fares with SW. So that meant adding Kona Grill to our ADR's and staying one more day...darn!!!

Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th of July. Our fireworks show was fast and spectacular do to rain coming in. Finished off the festivities with yummy ice cream treats from Sonic!!!

You HAVE to be my long-lost cousin!!! Gotta love WDW in the 80's!

Now if only I could get my hands on a scanner. Some of hte pictures are My dd - 3 declared that Mickey looked scary. I actually still have this book we bought when we went down there in the 80s. My brother and I spent so much time pouring over it and studying how amazing everything was.

How was your recent trip? How were the crowds? And the weather?

Thank you very much. The trip was wonderful, just DH and myself so alot of eating at TS. We did all the parks and ToT was really great with the added effects for Summer Nightastic. We spent the early part of the days poolside which was really great , got to swim with a family of ducks The weather was very Hot. We did not mind so much, if we had the DKs with us it would have been hard.We just did lots of TS spots and split our meals to keep down cost. The crowds were there but easy to handle,of course there are always the people who just no matter where they are they rude or obnoxious, they do not ruin my Magic time however

The November trip will be the whole family all 24 of us , hahaha. We are looking forward to the trip and being able to do F&W from an Epcot resort. Last year we were at SSR with DBiL and DSil. Can not wait to go back to count down is on When are you going?

I am having surgery tomorrow. So, I am not sure how long I will be MIA. But I am sure it won't be to long! Just make sure to send lots of pixie dust my way for a quick recovery!

Sounds like you had a nice time. I'm not sure my kids could handle the summer heat at the parks either. We are debating going in the summer or during a school holiday once DS11 hits 7th grade (2011 trip).

24 people!! WOW!! Sounds like a fun time! It will be so nice for you to be right next to Epcot for the F&W festival.

We are going the 6th-13th. We went the same week in 2009 and it was wonderful. We will be staying at the BWI for the first time though and are really looking forward to the resort and location.

I'd love to join in too! We are going to be there Nov. 14 - 20 and trying out our first moderate resort - CBR. We can't wait! Originally, we were supposed to go in May this year, but had to cancel that when I changed jobs a couple months before that and had to start over with no vacation. Luckily, I love my new job so it was worth it! So now we'll be down in November getting to see the Christmas decorations for the first time. And even better? Our DD will celebrate her 10th birthday while we're down there! MVMCP is scheduled for the same day as her birthday so we'll be there celebrating!

Thank You ladies! I will be back to update ASAP. I imagine it will be pretty soon. I am currently only scheduled for out patient for a partial hysterectomy. But if something goes wrong -and with my luck it will- they will have to admit me for a few days. My BP hasn't been cooperating, so they may end up keeping me anyways. Hopefully not. But considering I have never in my life had high blood pressure until last week, who knows what will happen.

Missed the QOTD, but we have been about 10 times since 1984. We almost always stay at the Contemporary, but once stayed at the Disney Institute--it was amazing!

This year, we are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter.

if you see in my ticker besides counting down when we are going this yr...I will actually make my next DVC ressie before we leave for our trip next fall...

I also have a solo trip w/ a Dis pal in the works for 2012 and then I know we'll be back the whole family in 2013 w/ parents...plus I want to take the twins in 2015 for their 16th b-day (if they are willing )

as as resorts I will have stayed in all levels after this trip...
