Great question! Now I have an excuse to return at least 3 more times(Feb,Sept,Dec) so I can say I have gone every month of the year:rotfl:

Me too!! But mine are Feb,Aug & Sept...but I don't want to do Aug and Sept....I would be open for Feb for sure!!

QOTD
March
May
August
November (went last year and it was perfect, dh is unaware that my plan is to go back every November!)

I have a question...I understand that Star Tours will be closed in November but does that mean the Jedi training will not be happening either? My dd would be really dissapointed, she loves fighting Darth Vadar. TIA!

I have been wondering the same thing. . .

You know I do feel soooo fortunate! Not many people can say they have had near as much experience at Disney World as me (yet I know quite a few who have done way more, hehe.) I have even been in the back lots due to marching in parades at Disney when in high school and I can also still remember what it looked like way back in the seventies. :goodvibes (I may have just given my age away with that one, :scared1:) It has changed a lot over the years and no matter how much I go, I always can't wait til the next time! :thumbsup2

Got the Monster pin code on Tuesday and booked the Polynesian for November 14-21.

Has anyone seen a review of the new tour (Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes)?

Yeah I got all my ADR's yesterday morning!!! My server was down when I tried to log on so had to make the phone call. I was worried about Thanksgiving Day but everything worked out great!!

We are doing:
Cape May Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe for Thanksgiving
The Plaza Restaurant
Garden Grille
Ohana

Now waiting on airline tickets with Southwest.

Yay for you!!!:yay: Now you can relax a bit!! I know I felt so relieved once they were made!! I stayed off the boards for a day or so because I was so tired!! LOL

Good thinking, we almost always seem to go at a different time of the year with the except of of years ago when we went for easter break like 3 years in a row. I recall the year we went in October, I was surprised when I found out how early the parks were closing most nights, having gone at busier times before easter and summer I just thought the parks were always open late :rotfl2:

Earlier park closing is something I have to keep reminding myself about when I'm doing my planning!

Nope, haven't heard anything about it.

Glad things went well! (well except for the computer issues :headache:) Looks great! :thumbsup2

Okay ladies, I am off to Field Day at the school. Yes, I actually got a day off from subbing at the school and I am going in anyway. :upsidedow

Have a great afternoon!

Have fun Shelly...is today his last day? Most of our schools down here are finished by today...I know some up north go a week or two longer...we will be waiting to hear all about your day!!!
Okay girls....hope everybody has a fun and safe long weekend!!!!!

Wow, we're chatty this morning! Two new pages! Woo-hoo!

I know what everyone means about not going to MK first thing. We're arriving on Sunday, and won't be at MK until Tuesday! :scared1: I'm kinda bummed that the first part of WDW that DD sees will be Spaceship Earth, but then I think again, and it's kinda cool that her first time at MK will be on her third birthday, and I think I've made peace with it.

Momof2Disneyboys, thanks for posting over the updates from allears. We have no TS meals on our full Epcot day (Wed), so I'm thinking that sounds like a great candidate for our big meal that day! Otherwise I'm planning on lots of snacking around F&W!

I am bummed though about the swap from Honey I Shrunk the Audience back to Captain EO. And someone else mentioned that Star Tours would be closed. That's kind of a bummer too, but as it's one that DD will be too short for AND DH would have to transfer me out of my chair, it was on the chopping block for rides we'd skip anyway.

Now onto our QOTD: let's see...I'm pretty sure my first trip was in August (I was only ten, so it's hard to remember, but I recall it being later in the summer), the choir trip was def. in June, the other trip with my parents was sometime in the summer but I'm not sure exactly when (I'll call it July since June and August are already covered), and the trip with my sister was in def. in October. So that gives me June, July, August, and October. Gonna be hard ticking off some of those off months though...not long after I finish school in two years, DD will be starting!

I've been to WDW in

April
May
September
October
November
December

I love them all, but October is my absolute favorite month in WDW: Food & Wine Festival, MNSSHP, weather, plus DH and I celebrate our anniversary and birthdays. November is second: still have F&W, holiday stuff starts.

Ok this post will truly show I am a child of the 80's but I just discovered the other day that

Rick Springfield will be doing 30 minute concerts at Epcot while we are there. Rick Springfield was one of my big crushes as a young teenager and his concert in my home town was one of the first I ever saw, (and I am not allowed to ever forget the date of the concert because my nephew was born that night :lmao:) we will definitely being taking the time to stop and have a listen!! ;) (Thank you Lord for a hubby that tolerates lil things like this without so much as a grunt!! :lovestruc)

So for those who are going while the concerts are going, is there anyone you will take the time to slow down and see?

Oh this conversation just sparked a QOTD :

What months have you visited WDW and what is your favorite so far?

I couldn't tell you how many times I have been in each month but here is when I have been.

Jan - only till the 2nd tho
Feb - Several Valentines Day trips for my mom from my dad
March - Only if Easter fell in March
April - Every Spring Break until 94
May - A couple times for my moms bday
June - Never as a kid, almost annually since 97
July - Every Year up till 97
Aug - First time ever last year, have no intentions of every doing it again!
Sept - Couple times around Labor Day
Oct - Never
Nov - First time ever this year
Dec - ALOT! But not since 2004/05 Christmas/New Years. DH has PTSD and can't handle being packed in like sardines.

Christmas is my favorite time to go, but like I said, DH can't handle it. The last time we went he was actually home on RnR from Iraq. So, he gets out of Iraq and 3 days later he is on Main Street. Then 6 days after our trip, he is back in Iraq. I would love to go again at that time, but its not in the cards regardless. DH civilian job has set vacations. July 4th week and Thanksgiving. I have no intentions of ever going back in July. So, I am hoping in Nov, we can avoid some of the major crowds and still get some of the Christmas magic. Even if it doesn't snow on Main Street that week.

Your post just made me smile remembering when we use to drive to WDW, and there is just something fantastic about seeing the first palm tree, the Florida sign and then all the signs leading up to WDW then finally seeing the Last one and you know you have arrived!!!
Flying just is not the same :sad2:

We still stop at the FL Welcome Center and get a OJ. It is one of the highlights of our drive!

I did Field Day last week with the kids. It was in the 90s and high humidity, I thought I was going to melt. I started throwing cups of water on the kids. They were melting from all the activities they were doing.
