Busy day at work and now to make dinner...
I need to get the kids next Disney "gift" ready (they should get a star on the calendar on Sunday.) I printed out the Tom Sawyer Island scavenger hunt (someone asked about where to find it, but I haven't had time to figure it out, I will though). I need to take it to Staples tomorrow and have it bound. I also got them Disney Pez that I will wrap up with it.

I had a few minutes so I wanted to post pics of my countdown calendar and my Disney bag. (I have one more patch for my bag pocket on order)

:wizard:pirate::cheer2: 70 DAYS TO DISNEY!!! :cheer2:pirate::wizard:

I noticed yesterday or the day before, lots are missing..ya'll just have a box with a red x in it....mine was too for a while...and have yall noticed how ssslllooooooooowww these boards have been? Maybe something is being updated?

Sorry I have been missing again for a few days. I see I have a lot of catching up to do!!! :surfweb:

I just realized we are at 71 days!! :cool1: I cannot believe we will soon be in the 60's days range!!!

We got a new tent and we will set it up this weekend to check it out. It is 20 feet long, 11 feet wide and just over 7 feet in height (which William loves as he is 6'2", lol.) I can't wait to see it all set up. It should definitely be big enough for all six of us to be comfortable. YEAH!! :thumbsup2 AND we should not have to worry about any rain getting through if it does happen to rain. (We are still considering getting a tarp though to put over it just in case though ;) )

As well, in January we bought this small shower tent to have for changing and to hold our little camping potty that we will be taking. This time though I have found a 5 gallon shower bag that heats the water for you, so I am going to see how that works. I hope it does as well as the reviews say, but if not it only cost $8, so no big waste if not. I like the idea of it because I can take a shower right there on my site and not have to worry about sharing with everyone else camping. (Which reminds me I need to add Clorox spray to my list of things to get. I like to spray down the camp showers before using them, just in case! ;) )

I'm actually looking forward to camping now that I have wrapped my brain around it :goodvibes One of mine and William's favorite trips to Disney with the kids is the 6 nights we camped there back in November 07. At night we could watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom right over the tree tops. :) It was also the first time we had stayed on property and now we can't stand the thought of staying anywhere else. Even camping out Disney has a way of spoiling you from going anywhere else :rotfl2:

Well off to catch up on my reading. I hope everyone is doing well!!

Haven't been on in a while. I miss you guys! :grouphug: My mother-in-law was in the hospital for EIGHT days with pancreatitis, heart trouble, gall bladder removal, etc.... We are SICK of hospitals! :sad2: Anyway, I haven't had time to read through all the pages, but I just wanted to say Hi again! Do we have QOTD's anymore? Or is our thread just too big? ;) I'll try, and if we've stopped for any reason, please don't flame me :rotfl2: And sorry if it's been asked before :rolleyes1

Question of the Day:
"Where is your favorite place to RELAX at Disney World?" (Only 1 answer please)

Ho guys!! Just an FYL for late Nov travelers still looking for dining ressies. I was able to get Le Cellier, Coral Reef andf Ohana over the last 2 days. I think with CP bookings, people are starting to move ressies around!

Favorite relaxing spot: The tables outside the Plaza with an ice cream cone.

Hi November travelers!

I just book our vacation for Nov 18-21 today! I usually have six months or so to plan, but now it's rush rush rush! My dh and I will be traveling with our youngest for his 5th birthday. We are going to surprise him, and just take off on an "adventure" very early Thursday morning. :woohoo: I am now in the process of planning our itinerary...I am an obsessive planner when it comes to our Disney trips. And advice on visiting the parks in November, including must-dos would be greatly appreciated. I'll post our final meal reservations when I have them figured out. It's going to be a challenge this close to our travel date...

Hey there! :) I wondered where you had gone off to!

Yep - We are still doing the QOTD, we have just slowed down on it. :confused3 Everyone's out of questions I guess. I'll have to try to come up with some more.

But yours is great!! :goodvibes A hard one, but a great one. . .

I'd have to say my most relaxing place is taking a break from the parks and strolling along the Boardwalk. :cloud9: Looks like I'll have plenty of relaxing time this trip since we are finally staying at the BWI!!! :cool1:

:welcome:

Wow that sounds like a great surprise!! :yay: We surprised our kids one year and it was so much fun!

November is a great time to go to WDW! We went last November and it is now our favorite month to go. Are you staying at CBR (I assume so because of your ticker)? Another one of our favorites. :cloud9: Be sure to sign your DS up for the pirate cruise. pirate: And relax on a hammock by the lake one evening, you can see IllumiNations from there. Other must sees - the Osborne Lights at DHS - so awesome!! And the castle lights after dark at MK. Be sure to go to the GF and see the gingerbread house. Go tour all the deluxe resorts and see all the Christmas decorations. :santa:

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but maybe others will chime in! :goodvibes
