Glad to hear ME does work! We came in on a Friday afternoon ...guess that's a popular time with everyone trying for a long weekend. Each bus was completely packed...the ME line was outside of the queue area and back toward the rental car counter (or whatever non-Disney counters were there!).

Now we drive, so it's not an issue.

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney does charge for ME. It seems they like to introduce something either free or at a cheap price and then as we come to rely on it, then they up the price. (When I first did the private photopass session it was completely free as long as you bought the CD, now they charge separately for it...DDP used to include tip and appetizer and was less than what it is now, etc)

Actually, quite a good business model ... but bad for us trying to save $$$!

I am pretty certain you can use it just one way. You would just need to call and set it up that way with Disney. Why not use it both ways? We always do and love it! From the time we land in Orlando we are usually to our hotel in about an hour or so. If I had to choose to not use it one way I would choose the way back. That ride is so depressing!

Thank you for the info. The main reason I dont want to use Magical Express both ways is because the hubby is saying that this will be our last Disney vaca for a few years!!! So I wanted to make this trip super special for us and I found a car company that does a really cute pirate presentation to our little guy at the airport. I know this will make him feel super special. They also do a princess presentation in case anyone is interested.

Anyone else trying for the Candlelight Processional today? I got threw on my first try at 6:59 on my cell. I was on hold and left to take the kids to school. Get in the car, switch to handsfree.... we are listening to hold music singing along and then BAM.... the local radio station started playing. My call dropped. Now, I can't get back in. I get all circuits are busy or a fast busy signal. Ugh! I see from the CP thread that I am not the only one. But it is so annoying when I did actually get in, but my stupid phone dropped the call! I love my iPhone, but it is really bad about dropping calls!

I think I may need more then luck.... This is INSANE! Atleast I know I am not the only one. CP is not a "have to" for us, its just a "we really want to". And we only have one day we can do it on, Fri Nov 26th. The very first day! And we want Coral Reef. So I am thinking I may need a barrel of pixie dust to pull this one off!

I managed to pick up a $25 House of Blues restaurant dot com gift certificate for $2 last night - dinner the night before we check in to AKL is now taken care of! We always stay in an offsite hotel close to Downtown Disney the night before our "real" trip begins - this allows for travel delays and rest without eating into any of our park time.

I already have Le Cellier for earlier in the week! But eating there again did cross my mind, just for the pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup. But we have ate at Le Cellier before, so once a trip is plenty. We have never ate at Coral Reef. So I figured we would give it a go since our first choice, Via Napoli, wasn't a option.

We just used one of these at the one in Myrtle Beach. Such a great deal!!! We got a $25 gift card to T Rex through an online points program. I was so excited about that too. Anything to save a few $$$ works for me!

Hello November friends! Busy day here. DS11 had track this morning. We just finished up with lunch and have to turn around and go back out to a PTO meeting. Yep, a PTO meeting and school hasn't even started. The board members usually get together at the end of summer to get things rolling. The girl who is hosting it has a pool, so the kids can swim. Too bad it's only 70 degrees out. It has been 90-95 all summer and it's 70 today.

Then we have a soccer meeting tonight at 7:00.

I sure can tell we are getting back into the swing of this around here. But, that's a good thing - November will be here soon!!!!!

We will be eating at Le Cellier for the first time this Nov, I have eaten at Coral Reef twice the first time I enjoyed it more than the second time but that seems to be the way with every place, there is a certain excitement to eating someplace for the first time.

We have been to LeCellier 4 times. The first 3 times we loved it. And the last time (last November) it was terrible. Probably just a fluke, but it was enough to make me want to skip it this trip. Maybe next time.

We are doing that exact same thing..Will arrive a day earlier than our actual on property vacation starts at CSR and i ordered the HOB gc from restaurant too for 2 bucks so we will have dinner for that night..We are staying at The Royal Plaza and will do DTD that first night then next day start our "real" disney vacation..LOL

I am expecting that to start anytime now. Usually 2-3 months out it starts and I have several crazy pre-Disney dreams!! Like - We've been there all week and forgot to do anything. Or - We've been there all week and I forgot to take pictures. Or - We get there and realize that we didn't bring any luggage. It didn't get lost, we just didn't bring it. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.
