:wave2: Hi pas130 How are you? Your trip is only a couple of days away. I am excited for you guys.:cool1:

sfmarine So sorry to hear about your Aunt. I hope she is feeling better soon. My aunt has arthritis also and it's horrible. Like pas130 said, I don't think there is a bad view.:thumbsup2
I am good my friend...3 more work days  Think I am done changing this trip :rotfl: Did I mention i am excited :cloud9:

I can't say whether the GF is worth it to you, but it sounds like you will be saving some cash vs. the Poly, so that's something! We are Poly lovers from way back, but once we started staying at the GF it was hard to go anywhere else.:lovestruc
So very true

Thanks k&a&c'smom! I've always been a Poly person, and while I'm not sure this trip will convert me entirely to GF cult status it probably will make it harder for me to have a clear cut favorite in the future!

Thanks again for being so kind and answering my questions and not jumping down my throat for not being able to read all 240 pages in one sitting! ;)

Happy wedding/honeymoon BTW! Cult status :lmao: we are a happy, safe cult at least...:rotfl:

Not getting through 240 pp..slacker...JK most of what you need to know is covered VERY well the first few pages!!!

k&a&c'smom-I can't wait to see more pictures of the GF. DH paid the balance due on our trip amount! 57 more days until I am there!

Keep all the pictures coming. I love to see them.

:rotfl: I did just change.....Poly to Pop....for my anti WDW DH. we will still do SW & US...and I get my WDW fix..and kept it budget friendly...maybe a King room in RPC is in my future....my nemesis the RPC King :scratchin

:goodvibes I am doing afternoon tea Friday at GF :cool1:

Love all the photos, everyone! As soon as DD has time, I'll have her upload my photos and get some posted. She is better at organizing as she uploads, rather than my sloppy method.;)

pas130 - So close! LOL about making another change - something has changed since I left, I think you did not have ANY WDW resorts on your list. I'm so excited for you, tea on Friday.:dance3:

NML11383 - you're welcome!:flower3: No worries, it's hard to read so many pages - we'll soon have a new thread, so it won't seem so intimidating. I just read the Hard Rock and Portofino threads on the US forums; it took forever, and they are only around 60 pages or so each.

I get what you are saying regarding the Poly monorail access - I always forget about walking to the TTC, as we never do.

MommyGina - All paid up, yay!:cool1::cool1: Won't be long now.

HAD to sneak WDW in! Maybe we can combine TR and do a full US RPR/HRH/PBH review. What fun :goodvibes

I knew I felt that Switching Nerve twitching this morning.:rotfl2: Ah, tea Friday at the GF sounds so wonderful.:cloud9:

I have some questions regarding the Club Level in both the Main Building and the Outer Building.

1. How is access checked? Does each person, including kids, need to have their card shown/swiped?
2. Is there a specific minuimum age that children must be to go in by/with themselves?
3. Are the food and drink choices the same in both clubs?

Thanks.

The answer to 3 is yes. SL and RPC have the same offerings. SL has a small kitchen. The appetizers and such are made in the main kitchens and they bring them over in the afternoon and cook them in the SL kitchen. So the food is prepared by the same chefs.

The access to the RPC elevators and the SL building are by swiping your Key to the World Card. They are yellow, not blue if you are staying CL. You can't get in without a card, so kids need cards also.

Don't know the answer to #2, hopefully someone will come along and answer it. You could also email IPO and they can tell you.

pas, this was our TPV room in the RPC with a king bed we were upgraded to (from a GV room!). It was on the third floor. It would be perfect for you and HRH!!!!

The room was like any other room at the GF, however it had a king bed, a view of the castle and was in the RPC!!!!

The view from the balcony, a bit blurry, but you get the idea!

Thanks a lot. So when you get off the RPC elevators then what? Do you have to swipe the card? Show it to someone? If kids are with me, why do they need theior own card? Just trying to understand the process prior to arrival.

Hi! When you first get into the elevator in the lobby, you have to insert one room card into the slot by the buttons, only then can you press a floor button. When you get off, it's assumed that you had a concierge room key card to get up there, so no one asks to see anything. Kids would really only need to take out their own if they were to enter the elevator alone.

We were upgraded to RPC on our last trip, so I don't know all the ins and outs, like any minimum age that may exist.

My DD was so spoiled by the concierge lounge (as was I) - it was wonderful!

Hi! Anyone trying to access the main building club level will need a card to access floors 3, 4 or 5. If you are all entering the elevator at the same time, only one person needs to enter their card in the slot. However, any time someone tries to access club level on their own, they need their card.

No need for any cards once you are on the CL floors. The lounge area is open to the room hallways.

When you exit RPC elevators on the 3rd floor, you will be looking at the desks for the RPC staff, and will either head down the hallway to the left for your room or over the atrium. If you exit on the 4th floor, you will be looking at the lounge, with the food service areas and tables - same hallways for rooms. The 5th floor is mostly suites.

For Sugar Loaf, the whole building is keyed access, meaning the doors won't open without a key. Again, if you enter all together, only one card needs to be entered, but each person will need their own key to enter on their own. The SL lounge is in the lobby of the SL building.

HTH!:flower3: I have a photo of the RPC lounge area I'll post below. Oh - not sure if there is an age limit, I imagine common sense would dictate children young enough to need adult supervision should not be sent alone to the lounge. Pre-teens and teens are welcome to come and go as they please.

Exiting the elevator on the 4th floor, you will enter this area (drinks and children's food service to right of table in this photo):
