Issues with Payments??

Is anyone having issues with payments going through today? Have called WDW 2x and both times my cc has been declined. Called the cc company and was told it's not occurring on their end--BoA doesn't even see the attempted charge. I could use another card but I really want the airline miles!!!
 
I had a similar issue happen whenever I tried to use any CC online (web or phone app) but when I would call Disney and have them charge it over the phone it would go through without an issue.

It took some convincing and several calls but I finally was able to get the CM on the phone to dig deeper into my issue and they handed it off to whatever the next level of support was (I can't recall but maybe payment services or similar).

Eventually a CM called me back the next day and had me test it and it finally worked online. She mentioned there was some issue with my online profile that they had to manually fix on their end so it would stop automatically declining every CC I tried.
 
I just got off the phone with a manager from GS. As I suspected, Disney IT at it's finest. When we moved to our new address a couple months ago, I updated my address. When I made the first payment last month, I had to have them update it again because it wasn't showing the correct address in MDE. I guess there were still issues with the address so I had to go into MDE and enter the address again. And now my cc is accepted and balance paid in full!!!

I really do appreciate the CMs I've interacted with and that they didn't just blow me off as if everything was related to the bank. It was a lengthy call but glad everything is fixed on both ends!!
 

I was paying a bill the other day (not Disney) and the customer service rep told me that portals are under attack all over this week.
Speaking of attacks and scams. I was scammed last week by some who called and said they were from my bank and were checking in a few charges that may have been fraudulent charges. Long story short, by asking questions that my bank typically asks, this person was able to gain access to my account. It took a week of calls with my bank to get everything fixed and secure again. Moral and lesson I learned is to always hang up and call your bank directly. I’m so glad nothing horrible happened as we had just wired a very large sum of money from the sale of a house to pay of the mortgage of our current house and this happened within hours of the wire going through. I think of all the GC funds that get stolen….some people are truly scum!
