Yes, that picture is accurate. That is the only space for storage. You also have a shelf in the closet that you coud use in a pinch.

Ouch! That could be a problem. We're one of the families that were switched from CL CR to RPC. What does everyone do for storage when they're there? We're a family of four, two of which are teenagers. We all hate living out of suitcases and we'll be there for ten days. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Last summer, with two teen girls staying in RPC, we simply requested more (alot more) hangers from housekeeping. The girls and I were happy! :thumbsup2

BCV23 - :wave2: I always forget the part about the accessible bathrooms being larger, and therefore having less space in the room. Makes sense.

contemporarymom - I've traveled with two teens many times, DD often invites a friend along. While it is a challenge at the GF, you can still unpack and stay organized - we never live out of a suitcase. We usually call housekeeping immediately for extra hangers, and hang everything possible - even pants, there are clipped hangers. (Housekeeping will ask how many you'd like, and number of each type.) Then, I assign each family member a drawer for socks, underwear, night wear. We manage and the room stays as neat as our other resort stays.

We store our luggage on the shelf in the closet. Friends who stay at the GF say they use the upper shelf in the closet for storing clothing, and put their suitcases either under the sinks, or behind the chair. Whatever works for you.

Good luck.:flower3: I so wish they had provided more drawer space, but we make do for the beauty of our favorite resort.:goodvibes

Lulu's Mom - I see I was still composing while you were posting! Great minds think alike.;)

LOL! kacsmom ;)

You know, after being packed, I'd rather have most of my clothes hung up anyways. And with the Fla humidity, the wrinkles usually "fall out" within a couple of hours. :thumbsup2

so much more organized, IMHO.

Thanks for all the quick replies! Hangers it is then. Myself and DD normally hang everything but it looks like DH and DS will be following suit this trip.

We're all really looking forward to trying out the GF and KCmike's gorgeous pictures are really helping build our excitement.

Thanks again to everyone for being so helpful! :goodvibes

Another view from the sea raycer....my son was driving....

Ditto to what janeapplemeadow said! It is one of the things I really dislike about the most recent renovations, the lack of drawer space.:headache: If you'd like to see the closet, there are more room photos on the first page, post #6.:flower3:

kaffinito - lol about the disagreement.;) Sorry your dinner there was not very good. I am surprised to hear about the family with bathing suits, as the dress code specifically mentions they are not allowed - someone didn't get the memo. We have never seen anyone in the restaurant dressed in bathing attire, for what it's worth.

I was kind of taken aback by the lack of dresser space myself, but it all does fit. :goodvibes The closet was nice and large, and I pack one of those sweater organizers to hang up clothes. :thumbsup2

I know what you mean about the dress code for Narcooses. I was very surprised at what the family was wearing. :sad2: I think I will try it out again but not for a while. Ever since I "discovered" V&A's that all I can think about

Our family is split on this one. My DH and I prefer Citricos while DD and DDIL love Narcoossee's. A few years ago, we had several misses with service at Narcooossee's but in the last couple years, service has been great at both. If it works, I like to dine at both. In our family, it comes down to menu preference really. Kaffinito, that family in swimming suits....yuck. Shame on them.

Thank you :goodvibes

I would like to try out Citricos this trip, but since we won't be back to WDW for a few years after this trip I think maybe I might book V&A's again instead? :rolleyes1 I just worry about how youngest DS will do there. :scared1:

KC Mike - Lovin' the shots from the water.:thumbsup2

kaffinito - Isn't V&A's incredible?!:cloud9:

Lulu's Mom - I know what you mean, I like hanging our things as well.

contemporarymom - you're welcome, glad to help.:flower3:

Sparrow624 - Woohoo!:dance3: Safe travels, and have a Grand vacation.

Thanks for the welcome! We are officially booked in Sugarloaf for January!!! I'm super excited to try a new place. We always like trying new restaurants and hotels at Disney so this will be fun! Now I just have to get through my training... :lmao:

Amanda

Are you supposed to book specific buildings??

If so, which one should I ask about?? We are currently booked w a lagoon view.... Any help would be great :)

DrMomof3 - Good luck with your training!:cheer2:

Millermom0606 - The only specific buildings you can book are the main building and SL - which are both club level. For garden view, lagoon view and theme park view rooms, you may put in a request for a specific building, but you will not be guaranteed that location.

I posted some info on lagoon views a few pages back, so I'll copy it here:

There are lagoon view rooms in Big Pine Key, which is close to the main building and both pools. You can see photos of these room views on page 18 of this thread. KC Mike posted photos of his lagoon view in Boca Chica on page 14; this building is close to the boat dock and quiet pool, which has the kiddie pool and ping pong table. I think there are still some lagoon view rooms in Sago Cay, which is close to the marina, Gasparilla's and the bus stop.

HTH!:flower3:

Off to the GF tomorrow!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!

Have a Grand vacation!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

You're going to have a lovely time at the Sugarloaf! We love the CL at the Grand! Simply the best! ::yes::

You're the Go-Go Girl!:cutie:

Well, even the "Go-Go Girl" had to run out of DVC points and ready cash sometime!

So yes, we won't be back as a family for a few years. Although the family understands that I will probably (read I will) be taking a solo trip (or two ;)) during that time.

I can't be without my WDW for too long!

So maybe I'll book V&A, or maybe not. I would just hate to do CL at SL and V&A in the same trip. Way too much food! I'd rather stay at AsSpo again and then do V&A. :)

I did book that cabana BTW. But am now thinking it would be better to have it for a full day rather than a half day since it's not too much more money, KWIM? ;)

Just wanted to pop in to add I have posted one of KC Mike's GF photos in the Nurses' station, and everytime I pass by it I mention how many days left til our Girls' trip.Helps me get through a tough shift. :goodvibes
