Do the CR washrooms have the wall mounted makeup mirrors in them? Last year when I stayed at the GF I found these mirrors to be great! I usually have a hard time with regular hotel mirrors! TIA!

As of right now the schedule on wdwinfo.com says March 15, however who knows if that date will change.

I had a dream last night that the contemporary mural was replaced with glass and you can see the whole concourse from the elevator that would be so cool

I have to say I'm disappointed in the cabanas. They're the same price as the ones at the GF, but not nearly as well-appointed (no table or sofa, for example). Bummer.

I think they look better then the GF cabanas it looks more quiet and peacefull near a lake while the gf is near crazy kids and waterfall pool and lots of ferrys

I definitely wouldn't consider that pool at the GF to be "crazy" in any sense of the word. The pools at the GF tend to be quieter than most of the other resorts. And I'm not sure what you mean by the GF cabanas are near "lots of ferrys"? The cabanas aren't on the beach and are nowhere near the dock, unlike the ones at the CR.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Even my 16 yo ds thinks the ones at the Grand are nicer, and in general he likes the CR much better than the GF (he thinks that resort is too "fancy", LOL).

Can someone help me out? I have been looking at pictures of the rooms and cannot seem to find any drawers to store clothes? Is there not an armoire or chest of drawers in these rooms? Are there drawers inside the closets? I have seen some photos of the closets opened up and only saw, like, 2 TINY drawers under the safe. Is this it???

Where is a "family of 5" (supposedly) expected to store folded type clothes for the duration of a WDW stay? Things like underwear, socks, pajamas, etc? I'm a bit confused. I don't want to have to live out of our suitcases...

I'll be there in under a month with two other women. I'm a bit freaked out at the prospect of NO drawers for the storage of the amount of clothing that the three of us will have for a week at WDW....

There are also drawers beneath the safe in the one of the closets. Our son used those in December for shirts, socks, undies, etc.

u could prolly get the water and snacks in there easily. I doubt the gallon of milk would fit. You might have more luck with a half gallon. Its pretty much your standard mini fridge

Basically- if I bring back leftovers and keep them in the fridge, I want to know if I can warm it up to eat the next day.

Yup! We had one brought to our room in December. It was very handy to have!
