Thanks. I'll be there on Sept 3rd, and was hoping something would show up for 2009. Can't wait to stay at CR for the first time!

I forgot to mention that when I was speaking to a Cats Member in the Sundries store I was told starting next month they might get a renovation. If that's true I would not worry about them causing to much noise because I am sure they can just board it up and etc, just like when they were building The Wave. That way it would not be a bother to the other guests with noise.

We have been back from our CR vacation for weeks but I am just now getting around to posting some photos. It has been awhile since I have posted any photos so I hope I do this correctly.

diseverestfan & MrsJ Henry -- Maybe these photos will help:

This is the Bay Lake side of the Tower. At the extreme left side of the photo you can see the edge of the Garden Wing. Then there are 2 sets of stairs flanking the ground level entrance to the Tower. That entrance (in the middle of the tower, the same one Tower CR guests use to access the pool, beach & dock) takes you to the ground level where the elevators, escalators, registration desks, and the new restaurant The Wave are located. Take the escalators or elevators to the 4th floor for the shops, arcade, and Chef Mickey's.

If you took the outside steps (shown in the photo) you'd enter the tower on the 2nd level, which is where the desk for the California Grill is and mostly the convention people go (but all are allowed to enter there as well). You can catch the escalator up to the 4th floor (Concourse level) from this level.

The photo below was taken standing under the stairs farthest from the camera in the above photo. The lady pushing the stroller has just exited the Garden Wing and the door is no more than 15 feet behind her, but it is around a corner and doesn't show in this photo. The entrance door to the Tower is about 20 feet behind where I was standing when I took this photo. As you can see, not a long walk at all, and it is covered so in the Florida rains you can move back and forth without getting soaked.

I hope this helps.

Thanks so much for posting these pictures, they gave me exactly what I was looking for. It really helps to be able to see things when you've never been there before. Thanks again.

SLDL, these pictures are amazing:wizard: Thank you for the new wallpaper.:grouphug:

You're welcome...I am just thankful for the world of digital photography! I would be broke if I had used a 35mm b/c I took SO many pictures of the castle from our balcony!

Cool! Beautiful sunset shot of the castle! Any more CR photos? Did you get any photos of the new trees planted on the plaza in front of the hotel?

Same question to you, ivo004 -- did you get any photos of the newly landscaped plaza? You would have had to have lowered your camera a little in the above shot to get it, because I can see the tops of the new trees at the bottom of the photo. But, any photo that takes me back to the CR is a great photo . . . thanks for sharing with us! :goodvibes
