Here is the link to the on-line version of the WDW Vacation Planning Video: click here. Once you’re on that webpage, click on the RESORTS button. The webpage will rearrange itself and some new buttons regarding the Resorts will appear. Put your mouse over the Disney Moderate Resorts Overview entry and select “Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.” A video window will open and the Coronado Springs Resort video will begin to play.

It’s a nice way to experience a little bit of Disney magic without leaving the comfort of your home. ;)

woohoooo this is great but im at tears right now :(

is it just me or does this site not play all movies, displaying "connecting...please wait" and then "reconacting...." all the time??!!

Does anyone have some recent pictures of inside the rooms in all 3 sections. I am trying to decide which to request. We stayed in Ranchos last time and am leaning towards Casitas. I really don't think I like the looks of the inside of the cabanas from what I've seen. The new bed spreads seem to clash with the yellow furniture. I know that seems petty, but I like a pretty room. Buzz, I really love your site, but I wish you had more inside the room pics. Take some next time you're there please!:thanks:

All the interiors look the same since the rehab. If you look at the new cabana room pics of the color scheme on my site, those are the colors of all the rooms. We stayed in the ranchos in 6/2004 and cabanas in 4/2005 and the bedspreads were the same. I can't remember the rugs or paint.

Does anyone know what time CSR will let us check in? We are arriving the night before and are staying in a hotel by the airport. I would love to arrive as early as I can the next day to pick up my tickets and check in (I know the room may not be ready). Then it would be off to fun fun fun!!! By the way what do most people like to do on their first day? This site has been great especially since it is our first family vacation at Disney --thanks to all!!! (DD is 12)

We checked in around 8:00 am with no problem. They did have rooms ready at that time but I elected to wait on a room I had requested. We had breakfast at the Pepper Market after we checked in and then headed over to MGM. We did not return to the resort until around 9:00 pm. Of course our room was ready by then! Great first day! :thumbsup2

We are going at Easter and I wonder if they would have rooms that were ready that early.

I am so excited about this thread. Now I know I will make up mind on staying here this May. I think this is a beautiful resort from all the GREAT websites out there.

I have a few questions now:

I am really interested in staying in the Ranchos section for their theme. My question is, is it really a hike to the El Centro and do you feel very isolated? I have almost decided to ask for a room in the Cabanas just b/c of the distance, but I really like the Ranchos ambience. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, do they charge you the extra 10% for the Pepper Market even if you are getting this to go?

Thanks for the thread!! I look forward to posting here frequently.:)

Are refrigerators standard in all rooms now at CSR? Last two resorts we stayed in both had fridges with out us asking for them.

Yes

It is .47 miles from the ranchos to El Centro. You aren't that far from the main pool though.

No, but make sure you get a to go ticket

The CAPTAINS PLAN is $125 for four hours of self drive boat rentals.
The FAMILY PLAN is $239 and gives up to 5 resort guests the use of self drive boats for 10 consecutive days.

These plans would both be purchased at the resort marina.
