Thanks!! 2 months from today and I'll be home!!!Janet2k said:Here is the link to the on-line version of the WDW Vacation Planning Video: click here. Once youre on that webpage, click on the RESORTS button. The webpage will rearrange itself and some new buttons regarding the Resorts will appear. Put your mouse over the Disney Moderate Resorts Overview entry and select Disneys Coronado Springs Resort. A video window will open and the Coronado Springs Resort video will begin to play.
Its a nice way to experience a little bit of Disney magic without leaving the comfort of your home.![]()

All the interiors look the same since the rehab. If you look at the new cabana room pics of the color scheme on my site, those are the colors of all the rooms. We stayed in the ranchos in 6/2004 and cabanas in 4/2005 and the bedspreads were the same. I can't remember the rugs or paint.Crazy Kanga said:Does anyone have some recent pictures of inside the rooms in all 3 sections. I am trying to decide which to request. We stayed in Ranchos last time and am leaning towards Casitas. I really don't think I like the looks of the inside of the cabanas from what I've seen. The new bed spreads seem to clash with the yellow furniture. I know that seems petty, but I like a pretty room. Buzz, I really love your site, but I wish you had more inside the room pics. Take some next time you're there please!![]()
We checked in around 8:00 am with no problem. They did have rooms ready at that time but I elected to wait on a room I had requested. We had breakfast at the Pepper Market after we checked in and then headed over to MGM. We did not return to the resort until around 9:00 pm. Of course our room was ready by then! Great first day!mmmk said:Does anyone know what time CSR will let us check in? We are arriving the night before and are staying in a hotel by the airport. I would love to arrive as early as I can the next day to pick up my tickets and check in (I know the room may not be ready). Then it would be off to fun fun fun!!! By the way what do most people like to do on their first day? This site has been great especially since it is our first family vacation at Disney --thanks to all!!! (DD is 12)

I have a few questions now:
I am really interested in staying in the Ranchos section for their theme. My question is, is it really a hike to the El Centro and do you feel very isolated? I have almost decided to ask for a room in the Cabanas just b/c of the distance, but I really like the Ranchos ambience. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Also, do they charge you the extra 10% for the Pepper Market even if you are getting this to go?
Thanks for the thread!! I look forward to posting here frequently.![]()
It was Christmas morning when we checked in!mmmk said:We are going at Easter and I wonder if they would have rooms that were ready that early.
YesAre refrigerators standard in all rooms now at CSR?
It is .47 miles from the ranchos to El Centro. You aren't that far from the main pool though.I am really interested in staying in the Ranchos section for their theme.
