What is the fax number to make room/building requests? How many days in advance do I need to make my request?

The website www.wdwig.com/cro1.htm has all the information you need for faxing room requests. As mentioned on the website, make sure you explain why you are requesting a certain room, building, etc. I had requested to be in the Cabanas to be close to Convention Center and Dig Site and to be on the second floor to avoid street noise. We were given a room in 9B on the first floor, but in the back section - absolutely no street noise. They knew more than we did when fulfilling our request.

We have guaranteed connecting water view rooms. Is there such a thing as King water view rooms and if so, where are they? We want the king for us and the 2 doubles for the kids.

We requested the cabanas and would love to be right on the beach. Wish I was there right now!

Yes there are king waterview rooms ..... My MIL and FIL just stayed in one Room 9601 in Cabanas 9B. It was a second floor room at the end of the building.

That's great news. By any chance, do you know what kind of a view it was-quiet pool, lake, etc.

We will be on our honeymoon on July 27-31 and would like to request a certain building/area at CSR. We really want the Cabanas with a king size bed and a water view (possibly Cabana 9B, which I've heard is wonderful). Is it possible to request this, our reason for being on our honeymoon? Or do we have to have more of a specific reason for them to accomodate such a request?

Also, since we have already paid/booked our tickets and everything, would it be easier to fax or phone to request the above room? What are the fax and phone numbers for CSR?

Thanks for this great thread. We're trying to decide between this resort & the Poly for our trip in October. Can someone please tell me whether or not you can use the refillable mugs when you eat at the Pepper Market? Thanks.

Yes you can use your refillable mugs in the Pepper Market. If you only want to fill them you simply get a pass from an attendant and take it in with you to the mug station. On the way out hand the pass back to the cashier.
BTW you can also refill them at Siesta's.

I really want to stay at the CS now.

I was just wondering... can you see epcot fireworks from anywhere at the CS? When looking at a map it doesn't look like epcot is that far.

You can see the fireworks from just outside of El Centro (near the boat docks)

I'm glad to hear about the fireworks. My daughter loved this when we stayed at the Contemporary. This hotel sounds great and just the place we want to stay in December. I'm really hoping they will extend the fairytale package or offer an AP rate.

Hey no problem
Just so you know the fireworks are in the distance and you can't hear anything. Still nice to catch though. I think viewing them from the fourth floor of the Casitas would be a good spot as well.
I have a tiny snippet of video of the fireworks from outside El Centro...If I ever manage to get my vcr hooked up to my new computer I'll add that footage to the site.

What are the hours of the Pepper Market? We will be arriving late on June 5th and may want a snack!

Pepper Market Hours are 7am to 11pm. They have a wide variety of food to fit anyone. I thought the pizza was great!!
