We staying in Cabana 8B rooms 8505, 8506 and 8507. All rooms were in similar condition. The location was great - about 5 minutes from El Centro and 5 minutes to the Dig. The grounds were immaculate and picturesque and I loved the Pepper Market (for breakfast only). We played on the beach right in front of our room and layed on the hammocks.

I didn't complain because I'm not much of a complainer, but I did get kinda hot about the crib. It was my sister's baby and it was her first time to stay on Property and I wanted it to be fabulous!

The Dig Site was great. We had so much fun there and even ate lunch (and a couple of adualt beverages too)!

What time does the Dig Site pool close? With MK closing early we may just come back to the resort and hit the pool to cool off if it stays open late.

The Dig Site closes at midnight

yup over by the bar there is a large bin full of towels

I am so glad that I found this thread. I just booked CRS for the Fairytale package. I had heard it had the best pool and my DD (5) loves to swim and loves water slides. She got so excited when she say the pictures.

I don't have any questions yet (they have all been answered).

Just wanted to say Thanks

I need an honest oppion from you guys please. We are booked to stay at Coronado Springs this July. I don't care how far we are from the pool and lobby. I jsut want a nice themed area to stay in. So what would you choose Ranchos? Cabana? or Casitias? I need help deciding. Thanks

If you love beautiful courtyards and fountains...casitas
If you love seclusion and arrid desert like theme...ranchos
If you love a oceanside flair...cabanas

You can see pictures of each area at my website below

I will be staying at CSR in June for a convention. My biggest concern will be proximity to the convention area. (I will not have much time to visit the pool). What area should I request for my room?

Thank you for your help (I apologize if this has already been answered in this thread). I have read a lot and I thank you for all of the helpful info on this thread. When I stayed here the last time we had a great room right by the pool and a bus stop, but that is not where I want to be this time!

If the hotel is aware you are a convention guest then you will most likely end up in the Casitas. For close proximity request Casita #1.

I know this has been posted... but.... I can't seem to find the answer. Which is the best bldg for convience to the dig site and the food court?

THanks

8a is very close to the main pool and bus stop #4 with a short walk to the main building

9b is very close to the main building and bus stop #1 with a short walk to the main pool

8b and 9a are in between but 9a has a quiet pool

Hello.

I am relatively new to this board. I used to post regularly last spring on the DCL board.

On July 27-31, my newlywed husband and I will be going to Disney staying at CSR. Our wedding is on July 26, and we leave for Disney that next morning...I can't wait.

Anyway, I have been reading this CS FAQ thread for over an hour now and have learned a lot about it. At first, at the travel agency, my fiance picked out CSR right away. I had my doubts...it didn't seem like a place that I would like, but after reading about it and seeing all the pictures, it looks beautiful.

We will have the honeymoon package and and waterview. Which village will be in, most likely? I'm fond of the cabanas because of the beach-like feel. I would also like to be close to a quiet pool and a bus stop. What is the best building to be in?

I'm so excited. Anyone that has any advice about my questions, I would greatly appreciate your opinions.

Mickybean,
There is no way of knowing which section you will be in until you arrive. You can, however, fax a request saying which section and even building you would like to be in. Both times that I have stayed at CSR I have been granted my request of staying in Cabanas 9B. The first time we stayed in a second floor room about mid building over looking the big lake and the second time (2 weeks ago) we stayed in a first floor room, in the back of Cabanas 9B, over looking a small pond, and if you look at the map you will see the bridge leading over to the Cabanas....right after you cross that bridge there is a path that leads to the first part of the Cabanas and that is where we were. Honestly, I loved the room in the back of the building better than the other. It was in an awesome location. We couldn't have gotten any luckier.
Anyway, long story short I faxed in my request 4 days before asking that we be in a first floor room in Cabanas 9B and we got it. I also mentioned that I was pregnant so that may have been why we got one of the first rooms.
Moral asking never hurts!

I was looking over the Pepper Market's menu on Deb's site and I have a question about pizza.
Are there only individual size pizzas or can we get a larger family size one?

Yes there are individual sized pizzas and family sized ones :)

Are the pizzas ready-made or can I can one without cheese? My son is allergic to dairy products.

They are made to order. I saw the chef apply cheese to my crust. Be sure you specify no cheese when you place your order just to be sure.
